Hey guys!  I’m still working on displaying pictures in our house.  This is a process that I’m afraid I will never be caught up on but it’s fun to try!  My newest photo display is this Photo Wall Hanging.

This project was super easy and CHEAP!  It took about an hour to complete and was under $10!

I was able to make every bit of this with scrap wood:) Here are the measurements I used:

1 – 1×6 @ 21.5″

3 – 1×6 @ 5.5″ x 8″

1 – 1×4 @ 18″

I stained the 1×6 pieces with one coat of Minwax Dark Walnut stain

and I sprayed two coats of Rust-Oleum Heirloom White spray paint on the 1×4 and followed up by distressing the edges with my 3M sanding block and staining them with the Minwax Dark Walnut stain.

Time to build!  I spread Gorilla Glue Epoxy on the back side of the 1×4

and placed it to dry on top of the 21.5″ 1×6.

Next, I used Elmer’s Spray Adhesive to attach a 5×7 of each of my kiddos to a 1×6 plaque.

While I waited for everything  to dry, I cut 3 strips of this super cute Waverly fabric, folded them down on each side and secured with hot glue.  (You can determine the length you would like for the fabric strips based on where you would like your pictures to hang)

I tied a knot in the middle of each fabric strip

and stapled the end of each strip on to the back of the small 1×6’s.

For the finishing touch, I added these pretty glass knobs that I purchased at Wal-Mart for $6 a set.  Not a bargain but I liked that the screws on the back were not attached, making it easier to add them to my project!  Plus, this was my only expense!

I applied a dab of Gorilla Glue Epoxy on three knobs

and I spaced them out evenly on the white 1×4.

I placed each picture over a knob and project complete!!!

I love that this was a 1-hour project for under $10!  Whoop!  Thanks so much for stopping by:)
