Hey there! I am so happy to finally get around to my guest bathroom. I haven’t done a thing to it since we moved in 3 years ago and it’s the one room we have the most visitors to!
Here it is after the completed first phase of the makeover.
I chose Dutch Boy Route 66-f14-3 in a satin finish for the walls. (I was inspired by Whit’s living room walls;) This bathroom is very small with zero natural light and this color was perfect to lighten and brighten it up:)
I also framed the existing builder grade mirror with preprimed, MDF, 1×4″ boards. I painted them with a latex paint that I had matched to my trim. If you would like the full tutorial on the mirror framing, you can check out my Master Bathroom Mirror. It is a cheap and easy way to fancy up those builder-grade mirrors;)
I’ll be back to share the updates as I get to them. I am so motivated to make this a welcoming guest bathroom and I can’t wait to add to it!
Thanks so much!
