Hey there! I am so happy to finally get around to my guest bathroom. I haven’t done a thing to it since we moved in 3 years ago and it’s the one room we have the most visitors to!
This is the before…. I don’t like the paint color, there is no natural light and it looks like the after-thought it was;)
Here it is after the completed first phase of the makeover.
I chose Dutch Boy Route 66-f14-3 in a satin finish for the walls. (I was inspired by Whit’s living room walls
This bathroom is very small with zero natural light and this color was perfect to lighten and brighten it up:)
I also framed the existing builder grade mirror with preprimed, MDF, 1×4″ boards. I painted them with a latex paint that I had matched to my trim. If you would like the full tutorial on the mirror framing, you can check out my Master Bathroom Mirror. It is a cheap and easy way to fancy up those builder-grade mirrors;)
I’ll be back to share the updates as I get to them. I am so motivated to make this a welcoming guest bathroom and I can’t wait to add to it!
Thanks so much!
Ashley
