Haven 2012

Hey there!  We are back and officially rested from the Haven conference.  This was our first blogging conference to attend and WOW we had a blast!  We want to share a few pictures of the friends we me while we were there!

shanty2chic with ana whiteYep…that’s our friend Ana White :)   It was so awesome to meet this girl after getting to know her through emails for the past two years!  She was even more awesome in person and we can’t wait to meet up with her again!

shanty2chic with infarrantly creativeHere is our friend Beckie.  You know her from Infarrantly Creative, Knock Off Decor and Roadkill Rescue.  We have known Beckie for almost 3 years now and FINALLY met her in person.  She rocks and we are hoping to meet up again very soon:)

shanty2chic with susie harrisAnd last, but definitely not least, we finally met Susie Harris and she was just a doll;)

We wish we had more pictures to share with you all!  To be honest, we were so busy learning amazing tips in our sessions, meeting awesome bloggers and having a BLAST that we forgot to take pictures!

To sum it up, Haven 2012 was a blast and it exceeded our expectations.  We will be purchasing tickets for Haven 2013 as soon as they are available and we can’t wait!  If you have debated about going to a blogging conference we suggest you go to Haven!  There is something for everyone from painting and building tips to tips on blogging!

We loved meeting so many wonderful ladies and we are excited to meet up again!

    Great recap! I’m noticing a theme that no one took very many pictures! That’s my biggest regret – I hardly took any at all. But it’s just because the conference was so much fun and we were all so immersed in it, that I think taking pictures was the last thing on everyone’s mind! Glad you ladies had fun and next time we will definitely have to meet!

    Hi Ashley and Whitney! You girls were the first Haven folks I met when I arrived at the hotel on Wednesday afternoon…thanks for being so friendly…it put me more at ease ’cause I did not officially “know” anyone there. It was so much fun at the conference to put real faces with blogs I have enjoyed reading.
