Hey there!  I am really excited about this cute little Memory Jar!  I got my inspiration from all of the ideas on Pinterest suggesting to start a jar of great things that happen in 2013!  On New Year’s Eve of 2013, we will open the jar and read and remember all of the awesome times we had in the past year.

I couldn’t just set out a mason jar and call it a day though.  1. If it is going to be displayed in my home, I want it to be cute and decorative;)  2.  If I don’t have cards ready to fill-out, we won’t keep up with it.  So, I made some cute cards and a fun label to place inside of a candy jar!  And, I am sharing the FREE printable files with you so that you can create one for your own family!

Candy Jar

The only supplies you need are a cute jar (I purchased mine at Wal-Mart for about $4.50) and my FREE printables below.

Free Printable Label

Click the above photo to print the Free Printable label.  It is a full 8.5 x 11 printable so that you can cut it down according to the size of your jar.

Free Printable Tags

Now click the above photo to print the FREE tags.  I punched holes in the top corners of the tags and attached them to the lid with 4-ply Jute twine.  (we just rip a tag off to fill it out and drop it in the jar).

My kids are loving the idea and have already been filling it up!  I can’t wait for us to open it up on New Year’s Eve and remember all of our great family times and awesome achievements!

***I purchased the Old Fashioned Straw Dispenser and Straws (pictured above) from Amazon.com.  You can click the box below to view/purchase.***

If you like this project, we would love your pins;)  Thanks so much for stopping by!
