Hey guys!

So… Ash and I both celebrated birthdays over the last few weeks.  We decided that we needed a serious day of pampering together to celebrate!  We are both from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and we found the greatest place ever to have a great ‘Mommy’s Day Out’!

It’s called the Sanford House Inn & Spa in Arlington, TX.  We feel like it’s a hidden jewel!

For you locals… We wanted to tell you all about this place!  With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we knew a trip to the Sanford House would make a great gift!  It also makes a great lunch date with friends, or even a little getaway with the hubby!

This place is so awesome!  We both did a 1 hour massage, 1 hour facial, and finished the day off with a mani and pedi of course !

Our favorite part??  Lunch!  After our massage and facial, we were served the most awesome lunch ever in this private room… We may, or may not have had lunch in our robes.  Yah, it was great!

And in true ‘Shanty’ style, we must highlight the food!

This was, by far, the BEST Chicken Salad Sandwich either of us have had!

And let’s talk dessert…

Ashley ordered Bread Pudding!  Insane.

And I ordered a chocolate cup full of berries!  Again… Insane.

The Sanford House is also a beautiful bed and breakfast, as well as a event facility for weddings!

It really is so beautiful.  The staff was so friendly.  They had to wake us after our massages.  And the food… SO good.

We will definitely be going back!
