Time to Complete: A few Hours, plus staining and finishing
Total Cost: ~ $200 including the legs
Finishing Details:
Minwax Golden Oak covered with 4 coats Clear Semi-gloss polyurethane.
I downsized the 2×10 construction and used 5/4 x 8 for the horizontals and 5/4 x 4 for the verticals.
my legs are also from Osborne but are 3″ x 29″.
I also routed a decorative edge on the top board as well as the top of the bottom section.
This was perfect for a small section of wall at the top of our stairs where a wider table would not fit (shown in the last picture).
The biggest cost of this project is for the leg turnings. the three legs were $100 including shipping. I also had to purchase the Kreg Mini jig kit for the pocket holes…
