New Flooring Reveal and a Giveaway!

I’m back to share how the new Quick-Step, Envique flooring looks in my house! I chose the Maison Oak planks and I LOVE them! You can read more about them HERE.

I love the grain and the texture of the floors. The color tone was perfect for my home because they have a grey look. They truly look like reclaimed hardwood planks ๐Ÿ™‚

Here they are in my living room. I’m still trying to find a rug to go in the middle of this room. I thought I would hold off until I showed you guys the pics so you could really see the floor!

Here’s another living room shot. I have travertine in my kitchen and opted not to have a transition (t-mold) piece. I don’t like having that piece stick up and it’s such a huge space, I know we would kick it all of the time. Since the travertine was level with the planks and underlayment, I was able to use a sanded caulk (matched to my grout) to fill the gap between the two.

Living room, entry and study shots.

I’m super excited about this space. This is our study. I haven’t done a thing with it, since we moved in. We had some old furniture in there but when we did the flooring install, we decided to sell all of it and start fresh. It didn’t fit the space and this room is right off of our living room and our entry way so I want it to be reallyย pretty and custom looking. I’m going to start working on the pieces for it this weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

I did buy this chair and a half for the room but that’s it for now ๐Ÿ™‚

And last but not least, the dining room ๐Ÿ™‚ I have a grey rug in this room so you can really see how grey the floors look ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s another shot of the texture ๐Ÿ™‚ This product has far surpassed my expectations. It looks, feels and sounds like true hardwood planks, so much so, that every person that has come in my home since we had it installed can’t believe it’s laminate! Happy customer right here!
