My husband and I were trying to make this hallway a type of mud room. When we enter through the garage we pass through the laundry room into this hallway. It was a great spot to drop things but we had to make that possible. The plank wall was a perfect solution. We added the bench so my husband could have a spot to put his shoes on since it is the hallway that also leads out of our master bedroom!
