I was inspired to make this sign because I love the meaning behind the word "Grateful". After making the sign I realized that it needed something more, especially in the space I was going to display it. Therefore, I decided to add a finishing touch of jute and mini clips to display pictures of those that I am grateful for. I just tacked the jute behind the sign and then wrapped it around a few times and then tacked it down again. I used a walnut stain that I had in hand. After purchasing the lettering, wood and clips (I had everything else), this sign cost less than $15 to make.
