Hey guys!! So… a fun new product… well, products to share with all of you!  Check out this great, super cute Christmas Countdown…
Want to make one yourself?? Here’s the great news… It’s one stop shopping!  This is a great project kit from Scribble It!  Everything you need minus a little paint and glue comes packaged all together.  The best part… It’s cheap too!  Woohoo!!

Scribble It

Now let me show you how easy and fun this is…  This is how your package will arrive.
No cutting of paper or wood… Woohoo again!
My first step was to paint my wood.  I decided to use Rust-Oleum Colonial Red spray paint.
At this point I did the usual and shantied it up a bit.  I sanded my edges and added a bit of stain.  This part is totally optional but also totally suggested:)  I then started working on the paper part.
This part is too easy.  All of the letters and numbers are vinyl decals that come on a sheet ready to apply.
You just peel off the backing…
Stick it to your already cut paper… and peel the top layer off.
So cute… and easy! No spending hours cutting your letters and then more hours trying to space them perfectly!
Then I did my numbers…
Like 2 seconds later:)…
Now to attach them to my blocks…
After adding a bit of distressing ink to the papers I decided to attach the paper with a bit of hot glue.
I then wanted to shanty it up a bit more so I added a few decorative nail heads to each corner.
And the finished result…

They have lots of other great, cheap goodies like this Joy decal.  I used mine on a small piece of wood to make a Christmas ornament.  You can also visit Scribble It’s Facebook page where they upload new photos, tell about giveaways, and have some tutorials for the craft kits.
Thanks for stopping by guys and make sure you go visit Scribble It!  Let them know the Shanty Sisters sent you!!
I will be linking this cutie up at Kimba’s DIY Day!!!
