Whitney and I made another trip to Michaels this week! Whoop! We met for a little Shanty Shopping at Michaels in Southlake, Texas. The customer service was amazing as always and we had a great time! 
Our first stop was the basket aisle where we were greeted with a 50% off sale! Um yes please! We stocked up! 
On to the decor! Lanterns at 40% off:) We were big fans of the white ones! 
Ahhh…. bird-cage votive! 
Here is the unfinished wood aisle where we have found finials and candle sticks for a number of projects:) 
Whit used a 40% coupon that she printed from our site to purchase these super cute flowers to make more flower head bands….. 
and I used my coupon to score this super cute vase…I’m sure it will end up in some sort of project;) 
A Shanty Shopping Trip is never complete with out a trip down the toy aisle:) Gotta bring something home for the kiddos! We could go on but you’ll have more fun finding your own Michaels treasures! I love Michaels! I can get myself into some big trouble there so I have to stay away right now. ;). Looks like you two had so much fun. I have to say though, my favorite part is the the the last shot where you can see those tiny little toes that snuck in the picture. Too cute! Now that’s a realistic trip to Michaels – or anywhere for that matter!

Southlake!!! My parents live in Keller…and I mean, just over the line of Southlake! I was just in that Michael’s at Christmas. (Yes, I know I’m a dork that I’m all excited about that. LOL) 🙂
