So, I’m still enjoying the DIY chargers I made a few weeks back but I got an urge to spice them up a bit!  I used my Silhouette for this project and it was super fun and easy!

I thought birds were fitting for spring so I scoured the Silhouette online store for my favorite designs.

I used contact paper to cut the stencil and peeled the backing off after it was cut.

Then, I place a stencil on each charger.

Using a stencil brush, I dry brushed across the stencil with Behr Cozy Cottage paint.

After letting the paint dry for few minutes, I peeled the contact paper away from the charger.

I decided to sand each stencil down with a light sanding block to age them a bit.

I followed up with 1 coat of Minwax Polycrylic Clear Gloss finish and that was it!

I moved these inside today and I love the spring feel they give my dining room!  I also love that they are decorative pieces even without the place settings!  So fun:)
