I love to decorate for Christmas and my theme for the past few years has been silver, blue, chrome, white and lots of snowflakes! This year, I have added that to my dining table!
I made these super cute Snowflake Chargers with the help of Martha Stewart Plaid! They were easy, lots of fun and cheap:)
I started with a 6ft. 1×12. I cut it into squares at 11 1/4″. Your hardware store can do the same. ( A 6ft. board will make 6 chargers).
Next, I used a Martha Stewart Roller Top to apply a base coat on each board. I chose the Martha Stewart acrylic paint color Wedding Cake. Now for a little sparkle:)
I used a Martha Stewart Specialty Sponge to apply acrylic Metallic! I LOVE the Metallic acrylic paint!!!! It’s so shiny!
I chose two cute snowflakes from this package of 37 holiday stencils.
The specialty sponge made stenciling so easy!
When I was done painting, I used the Martha Stewart Brush and Stencil Cleaner to wash all of the paint off. It worked like a charm:)
I was in LOVE with the cute little snowflakes but the chargers needed a finishing touch:)
I sanded the edges down
and applied a light stain for an aged look.
LOVE these!!!
Thanks so much again to Martha Stewart Plaid for helping me create the perfect place settings for Christmas! ~Ashley

I love these! I think I will make some monogrammed ones for my table that I can use all the time…great idea! I have a hard time finding placemats I like.
