Deer Art With Silhouette Fabric Ink!

Hey Friends!

We have ANOTHER Silhouette Cameo giveaway that starts tomorrow!  We will also be running a great promo on one of their new products I wanted to show you guys today!

This is the Silhouette Fabric Ink Starter Kit.

After reading what it did I was really excited to play!  I decided to make some art for my living room to try it out.  The kit comes with everything you need to stencil on fabric!  I have used several different methods to stencil fabric in the past, but this is by far my favorite.  It is super easy too!  You get a roll of stencil paper and transfer paper.

You make your design on your Silhouette software and cut the stencil paper just like you would the regular vinyl.

I cut out a cute deer head that you can find on Silhouette Studio!

You just cut it out and then peel the inside off to create your stencil…

Your final step is using the included transfer paper to lift the stencil and attach it to your fabric.  This is great for detailed stencils and I love that the stencil paper is sticky enough to stay attached to the fabric!

Silhouette has a great line of fabric ink!  I mixed white and tan to create a cream color for my project.

How fun are those?!?

I simply wrapped a piece of scrap MDF with some leftover fabric from my dining room.  I used my staple gun to attach my fabric to the back of the wood.  Then, I stenciled it on!  So easy!  And I love how precise the lines are!

Here is how it turned out…

Or I may just use it in my entry… Haven’t decided yet :-)!

So fun!  I love this stuff!  And that is super textured fabric… I was surprised at how well the stencil paper attached to it!

Tomorrow’s promo we will be announcing will feature the fabric stencil kit!  It’s a great deal and you will get a great discount by using the code SHANTY!

And yes…

We will also be giving one lucky winner a Silhouette Cameo!  Woohoo!!  We love these giveaways!

Make sure to check back with us tomorrow for all the details!

Thanks so much!
