Happy Monday!

I hope you all had an awesome weekend!  I am so happy to finally have temps that feel like Christmas here in Texas… Woohoo!

Welcome to Day 10 of the 12 Days of Christmas Event!

Today I am here to share a quick and easy centerpiece I made for my outdoor table!  This can really be used anywhere!  With a few flowers added, it also makes a super cute Christmas gift!

Here is how mine turned out…

Those of you that know me, know how much I love a good box.  Well… I do.  This one is so simple, and fits 6 glass soda bottles perfectly!

So, here we go!

build-a-box

For those of you that don’t have a saw, you can have the hardware store cut your wood for you.  I would recommend getting a saw just like the one below.  This is a GREAT crafting saw!  It is the first one I started with, and it is perfect for small projects like this one and so many others on our site!

Ignore my stained wood!  I took apart an old project to build this one 😉  So shanty, right?

This is where I get my baker’s twine.  This stuff is so darn cute.  It’s great for wrapping gifts as well, and the roll is huge!

That’s it!  Super simple, and oh so CHEAP!

Here are a few more shots of mine…

Hope you love it!

The possibilities are endless with a box like this!  Once Christmas is over, the bells can be removed, and it can be easily restyled for Spring!

I would love for you to share this with your friends and PIN it below of course!  So glad you stopped by!  Make sure to check out tomorrow’s post… My hubby is excited about it too 😉

We have teamed up with some fabulous bloggers to bring you this 12 Days Of Christmas! Make sure to check them all out, and be looking for today’s great giveaway!

  1. I absoutely adore this little box and want to make one of my own. I’ve been contemplating a finishing nail gun for some time but hubby has fogged my brain with what kind to get. Any suggestions?

  2. Quick question for you – read through this one quick and bought all my wood to make 4 of these today. Now that I am looking at the picture and what I already just cut….is the wood measurements a typo above? Should the 1×4 be a 1×6? it looks way to shallow to me otherwise. Maybe it is me! I am tired, lol

      1. Thanks!!!! Now I have to find something to do with all the 1×4’s lol……At least now I know I wasn’t going crazy!!! Hope your project came out great!

        1. Hi Jean…. I am sorry I missed your original comment. I did make a typo there. So sorry… I fixed it in the post. Sorry for the confusion… I blame it on 13 days of posting in a row 😉 The hardware store accepts returns on wood, so hopefully you can return them! Thanks so much!

          1. Not a problem…I cut some before I realized it but no problem, I cut 4 new ones they came out beautiful and I am sure I will find a use for the 1×4’s, lol!!! I just wanted to maje sure that nobody else made the same mistake. Thanks for the beautiful idea. I simply love them!!

  3. You both are knocking my socks off everyday with these ideas. I have made several so far. Thank you so much for helping me bless my house and my family.
