Hey there!  Have we got a cool opportunity for you all today!  We were lucky enough to get to try some of the newest 18V Ryobi outdoor tools!  We aren’t typically in the yard, we leave that to the hubbies…or at least we have until now!  We LOVE these tools and one of our favorites is the 18-Volt Hybrid String Trimmer!

I have always been intimidated by my husbands lawn equipment.  They are loud, look dangerous and they use gasoline!  I don’t even like to pump gas in my car so no way was I going to attempt to use his tools;)  That’s what is so great about this new line of tools!  They are BATTERY POWERED!  And they share the same 18V batteries as the Ryobi power tools that we love!

Cordless_Trimmer

Cordless_EdgerIt’s so easy to use.  Just pop the battery in and twist the dial, in the middle, to trim or edge and pull the trigger!  You can also adjust the cut width on the edger!

Battery_EdgerNot only does this bad boy run on the 18V batteries, it is electric as well!  So, if you are close to your home, you can hook it up to an extension cord.  If you are further from home or just don’t want to mess with the cords, pop in the battery!  My hubs even stole this from me, one night last week, to trim some weeds down on a baseball field he took the boys to practice at!  He loved it ~ I made him give it back 😉

Ryobi_Cordless_String_TrimmerIt’s light weight, the battery life lasts a long time and I can now say that I can do yard work!  It’s nice to be able to get out and help my husband and it’s fun too!  How would you all like the chance to win your own Ryobi 18V Hybrid String Trimmer?  Well, we are giving away TWO 🙂

Just enter below for many chances to win!  Your yard work will never be the same!

  6. My boyfriend and I just had our first home built and we are on a 1/4 acre lot with a beautiful front yard and nothing to keep it up with. Once our backyard is done, there will be a whole different necessity for a trimmer. Thankfully I have a wonderful brother who came over with my dads mower and cut the grass for us :), but the edges are in need of some TLC so hoping to be the lucky girl who gets one of these awesome trimmers! Thanks ladies! You have been the inspiration to our home as we actually purchased the kreg jig master toolboxx and have built 2 end tables, a coffee table, a console table, and are working on the dining room table this weekend. 🙂

You both are such an inspiration and I love all of the effort that you two put behind this website and all of the videos to help us all learn how to become a handywoman!
