STAIRS!  I think I was most excited about this addition during the framing!  This is the view from the front door.

Dining-RoomTo the right of the entry we have our dining room (many dreams have been had about what dining table I will build for this spot) 🙂

  1. Can I ask which plan you are going with?? We just bought a lot and are currently OVERLOADED with plans. We have the same type of style, so I’m curious as to the one that you chose!! THANKS!

      1. could you share your actual home plans? i’m in love with your house, but unfortunately that link doesn’t work! i searched like a mad woman on that site, but they only have a one story variation of it, and i love the two story version!

  2. Thanks for showing on the outside, where the rooms are on the inside – it’s cool to make the connection! I like how the stairs are kind of curving between the living and dining areas, nice touch.

  3. Looks AWESOME! How exciting it must be to build a home – around here the houses are OLD and land is scarce so building is rarely an option.

The favorite part of our old house – the COLOR! I am thrilled to live in a lavender house!

  4. Looks like there is absolutely no wasted space which i love very cost efficient. I can’t wait to see all the fun things you are going to make. Super excited for you!! 🙂

    1. Hi Brandi,
Thank you! One of my goals when we were looking through plans was to find a home with very little wasted space. We had about 500 sq ft. of wasted space in our last home that eventually got to me 😉 I think we found a great fit for our family! Thanks so much for following along!

  5. Love how the roof angle/shape from the back is so European ( at least my Belgian house experience!). It looks wonderful! Love the dormers also. Anxious to see the inside combo great room area with the stairs at that angle. What’s the total sq. Ft. Amt? How much land is it on? Proportions look very fine with size of lot around it!! Very impressive!! What a blessing!
