Hey there! I’m so excited to share a campaign, with American Standard, that we are honored to become a part of!
We are joining the Flush for Good campaign! Through the campaign, American Standard will donate a sanitary toilet system to a developing country for each Champion Toilet purchased! We are very fortunate, in the US, to have access to clean, running water and it’s easy to take that for granted (guilty!). I was shocked to learn that across the world, 1.5 billion people are living without access to sanitary water or a proper toilet and because of this, every minute, three children die because of dirty water and poor sanitation. These sanitary pans create a barrier that prevents cross-contamination between open latrines and the people that use them.

It is absolutely heart breaking to learn the statistics but the fact that there are great measures being taken to save lives and improve the quality of life for these adults and kiddos gives so much hope to the situation.
This campaign comes at a great time for me, as we are building our home 🙂 I’m very happy to share that I have picked The Portsmouth toilet from the Champion line to install in our home and American Standard will be donating 30 sanitary toilet pans to a community in need. They will also be giving 30 sanitary toilet pans in honor of you all (our readers 🙂 ) !!!
How cool is that!?! It gets better though 🙂 Check back in a few weeks for my toilet installation reveal because American Standard will be sending THREE lucky winners a $200 gift card to Lowe’s in celebration of this campaign! It really is the gift that keeps on giving 🙂
