Today I am sharing a fun and super cute ornament idea!  I also like using them with twine to wrap a napkin when making a fun place setting.  Check out my DIY Birch Initial Ornaments!

These are so fun and crazy simple to make!

I started with these birch slices I found at Michael’s.  I used a coupon for mine making them super cheap.  You can also buy the logs they sell there and cut your own to save even more money.

I used this ink pad…

And this cute B rubber stamp to put our last initial on each of my birch slices.

I used my drill to put a hole in the top of each one…

Then, I made some cute little bows using small burlap looking ribbon.

My final step was hot glueing the bow to the top and adding a small piece of twine to hang it on the tree!

Easy peasy.  And I think they are so cute!

  1. Hi there! Did you purchase the stamp from Michael’s as well? Approx. how many inches is the letter? I’m having a very difficult time finding stamps and stencils!
