  3. Annie Lamparzyk on August 27, 2014 at 4:14 pm

As a single mom and renter, my love of “rehab-ing” discarded (furniture) pieces helps me provide color, personality, warmth, and comfort to my home. This “guy” is the latest edition to our house and I love “him”!
Before, on the street and after, in a good home w others just like him.

    • Annie Lamparzyk on August 27, 2014 at 4:16 pm

      Here he is.

  7. Caroline Wilson Welsh on August 22, 2014 at 9:01 pm

Either my family room which was the first room I repainted when we bought the house in 2001 OR my daughters much too bright green room!

  8. Jennifer Delightfully Noted on August 22, 2014 at 2:11 pm

Eek! We just moved so my list of projects to paint is ever growing! But I would tackle painting some kitchen chairs first to go along with the table we plan on building soon!

  9. Jessica Fortner on August 22, 2014 at 8:52 am

    I would paint my upstairs bathroom…maybe a pretty mint color : )

  10. Carey Benson on August 21, 2014 at 6:21 pm

That would be the living room, when we rented our home for a bit the tenants painted over my beautiful colors and I now have a deep, shiny hunter green accent wall…ewww 😛 lol

  11. Tracy Molyneux on August 21, 2014 at 2:20 pm

My family is moving into my parent’s house, and they are moving into a new house that they are building. We are going to need paint for both houses!!!!

  14. Theresa Thornton on August 20, 2014 at 4:05 pm

I have been in the middle of construction for a couple of years. I’m in the middle of building a leaning bookshelf (ana white) and I painted the shelves with a gray wash with the Sherwin Williams gray paint I used to paint my dining room. Need some paint for the bedrooms, kitchen, living room. Thanks!

  15. Jenna O on August 20, 2014 at 1:15 pm

  17. Patti McCurdy on August 20, 2014 at 5:37 am

Hi! My 17 yr old daughter has been wanting a make over in her room. So, instead of painting my bedroom and bath I’ll be doing her room first….naturally! Her room is pepto pink and lime green! To say her room is in desperate need of a new coat of Sherwin Williams paint is an understatement! They are by far the best paint I have ever used!

  18. Amanda Whitley on August 19, 2014 at 3:02 pm

i have been wanting to paint my bathroom so that would be my first project
    heavensent1988 at yahoo dot com

  19. shelly on August 19, 2014 at 2:16 pm

I would say my living room dining room combo. The ceilings are high and the previous job wasnt done well. In a warm grey, or maybe even a terracotta color!

  20. shaunie on August 19, 2014 at 10:35 am

Would have to say that it would be the living room. Would love to paint it a pretty yellow for sure

  21. Christine Presto on August 19, 2014 at 8:52 am

I’ve been wanting to paint the dining room area in my apartment! It would translate to 2 walls of accent and would definitely liven up the place!

  22. John Batey on August 19, 2014 at 4:56 am

Built-in bookcases–currently stained very dark in a room that could use more light.

  23. Grant Laird on August 19, 2014 at 4:41 am

Definitely goes to my two extra bedrooms since both girls were gone 🙂

  24. Emily Steinhilber on August 18, 2014 at 3:09 pm

    The whole house!

  25. Christy on August 18, 2014 at 3:08 pm

So many projects but, my daughter’s room and my son’s room are 1st on the list! From the walls to their furniture. The older I get, the more I realize that their rooms shouldn’t just reflect their personality but, also be a relaxing space to escape from the stress of the day.

  26. Beth willard on August 18, 2014 at 1:19 pm

The baby’s room needs some serious W-O-R-K so I would start there 🙂

  27. Shannon Baklund Brey on August 18, 2014 at 1:07 pm

  28. Nance Worley on August 18, 2014 at 12:43 pm

    The inside of my house,
    All of it.

I would love to paint my bathroom.

  32. Andrea_Loveis on August 17, 2014 at 8:08 pm

I would have a few options in our new house… We have a few pale pink walls, periwinkle, 2 shades of green in one room & 2 shades of yellow in another! Thankfully, those are all in the basement, so I don’t have to see them on a daily basis! = ) I’m thinking the green room would be first!

  33. Mary Courtney Todnem on August 17, 2014 at 7:45 pm

I need to paint my shutters, laundry room, and bathroom. I also have some smaller projects that I need to do(: Thanks for the chance!!

  35. Julie Hales on August 17, 2014 at 9:16 am

My laundry room is half finished! I painted it when we first moved in but then we replaced a window with a door. Which is great but it’s still at the mud stage -4 years later. I really need to do something about that!

  45. becca h on August 16, 2014 at 11:14 am

There’s a hutch in our kitchen that I’ve been dying to paint dark grey so this would top my list!

  46. Melissa on August 16, 2014 at 9:57 am

Every room in my house needs a paint update! But I’d have to start in my daughter’s room. I promised her I’d get it painted this summer, along with her off-white bedroom furniture. Next I’d have to tackle the kitchen. I’ve been putting off removing the wallpaper that’s already peeling in several places. Having a gift certificate like this would certainly help motivate me to find the time!

  47. Carolyn on August 16, 2014 at 8:36 am

Since losing my husband a short while ago, I’d like to paint the dark paneling in my living room a cheery color to make me a little happier.

    So ready to update!!!

  51. EllieDaVa on August 15, 2014 at 8:57 pm

I plan on painting my kitchen and the cabinets in the next few weeks. We bought our first home not too long ago and I can not stand the red and purple that is currently in there. (What were they thinking?!?)

  52. Chenell on August 15, 2014 at 4:02 pm

My craft studio. When we first moved in, it was my husband’s office. He painted it a dark putty grey. Not a very inspiring color for crafting. 🙂

Our upstairs bathrooms are about to be remodeled, but we are currently working on our whole home!

Here’s a photo I forgot to attach of my sons “Surfer/Ocean” themed room 😉

  69. lovedbyhisgrace on August 14, 2014 at 10:52 pm

How exciting!! We have three precious blessings…. A son who is 8 and twin daughters that will be 7 on the 19th. Our son has aspergers and ADHD. He has a precious heart! So full of love. Last year I did a surprise “surfer” themed makeover for him with wooden surfboards, whales, sharks, stingrays, and all sorts of fun wood decor that I cut out and painted. He was thrilled! Our twins (who came 10 weeks early ON my 35th birthday and are truly miracles after 3 months in the NICU) have had the same room decor for a long time. I’m not trying to “paint” a sad story but, I also have multiple sclerosis and medication to treat it is anything but cheap. A huge part of keeping my spirits up is creating wood crafts. It’s a passion I’ve had since high school. I was the ONLY girl who took “wood shop” instead of home economics lol! I’d love to give the twins a new “big girl” room and it would mean the world to be able to give that gift to them. Your blog has been such an inspiration to me. The detail in which you explain the “how to” takes the “oh I don’t know if I could do this” away. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and talents and allowing us a window into your world and projects through your blog!

Touch up alll the woodwork trim and cabinets in my house and find the perfect color for my master bedroom. 🙂

  82. Karla Wilcox on August 14, 2014 at 6:45 pm

Our 1st project would be our dining room. We just moved into our new house 2 months ago and every room is white. Our house NEEDS COLOR!!! We need to paint our dining room (after we put up some molding), our dining room and the bathrooms. Eventually we want to paint all of our rooms – at least something other than white! 🙂 If we can paint the majority a neutral color with a few rooms that pop – that would be my ultimate goal!!! This would help us at least get started getting there!

  83. Alaine on August 14, 2014 at 6:36 pm

SW has wonderful colors to choose from!

  84. Sara Johnson on August 14, 2014 at 5:44 pm

  96. Kristen on August 14, 2014 at 2:06 pm

Painting our downstairs to liven it up a bit. I have just started using Sherwin Williams this summer and cannot believe I waited this long to discover their wonderful paints! I just love them. Tackled our master bath, kids bathroom and a new craft nook! Working my way through the rest of the house and this would be so helpful

  97. Ericka on August 14, 2014 at 2:03 pm

I can’t wait to paint our living room and hallway…right now it’s a tan-ish color that looks pink in the right light. It needs to go!

  98. Heather Vondra on August 14, 2014 at 1:42 pm

I am currently finishing my basement so would totally use it to paint!

  99. [email protected] on August 14, 2014 at 1:39 pm

All my rooms could use a fresh coat of paint, but the bedroom would be first!

  100. Nancy on August 14, 2014 at 1:35 pm

It would have to be my bathroom. In January 2002 the back of my house
burned. I got all of the house finished painting and restored except for
my bathroom. I was getting ready to tackle that room next, when I had
to use the money that I had put back for remodeling and painting. I was a
co-signer on my daughter’s car loan. The bank came to repossess it, so I
paid off the car. Needless to say my daughter has never paid me back any
of the money. The bathroom still has the smoke streaks on the wall and
ceiling. I know it is just paint but I cannot afford it, just am barely
able to make my bills. Sorry for the sob story but it is all true,
    believe me, I wish that it wasn’t. I love Shanty-2-chic 🙂

  101. phyllis henry on August 14, 2014 at 1:25 pm

  120. MarthaC on August 14, 2014 at 11:25 am

All the accent paint in the rental we have. It’s an ugly shade of blue, it needs to go. And we’ve been given the okay to do so.

  121. Annette on August 14, 2014 at 11:23 am

My bathroom. I want to redecorate the entire room, starting with the wall color.

  124. Felicia Burke on August 14, 2014 at 11:07 am

We just moved into our new home in July and every inch needs a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams paint! We have cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more but all the walls and trim still appear dirty. Sherwin Williams to the rescue 🙂

  125. astcgirl on August 14, 2014 at 11:02 am

I really need to do my son’s bedroom it’s a horrible mustard color from when we moved in, he has been begging me for a camo style bedroom….I compromised and said I’d do one wall camo and the rest beige…..just need to buy the paint and make it happen….I’m going to make him a loft bed also for the ultimate boys bedroom.

  126. Krista Marschand on August 14, 2014 at 11:01 am

To paint our china cabinet a fun color besides the boring stain it is now. 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity!

  127. Whitney Albrecht on August 14, 2014 at 10:52 am

my entire downstairs needs to be repainted! 🙂

  128. Laura White on August 14, 2014 at 10:40 am

Not sure if you’ve already got my other post or not–sorry if I posted this twice!
We would use the paint on our newly-consructed triple bunk bed. We would also get some extra to paint for the new dining table my hubby will construct in the near future…:)

  129. Lindsey Taatjes on August 14, 2014 at 10:38 am

The whole interior of my new house!

  130. HS on August 14, 2014 at 10:36 am

I’ll paint our living room first.

  131. Livivua Ramsey on August 14, 2014 at 10:36 am

Taking the chocolate brown color off my

    dining room walls.

  132. charity on August 14, 2014 at 10:33 am

My two year old is being promoted to a big boy room!! We need lots of paint and tissues for this precious and emotional transition:) We are also making a lot of his furniture from you/ana white for his room. Can’t wait to see the outcome!

  133. GG on August 14, 2014 at 10:28 am

I would paint my living room, and hall.

  134. Alex Anna-Marie Struble on August 14, 2014 at 10:22 am

I’d paint a hamper first that we made… apartment living frowns on wall painting so small splashs of color work!

  135. Amythyst S. La'Beet on August 14, 2014 at 10:19 am

My kitchen, the last lady that lived here painted the kitchen and cabinets black, of all colors.

  136. Cherie Ball on August 14, 2014 at 10:07 am

Both of my daughters rooms I am repainting soon!

  137. Terri Gonzalez on August 14, 2014 at 10:06 am

I have 2 rooms that could use a refresh: my “office” (which I am trying to get started), & my bedroom, which hasn’t met a can of paint in a few years. But then, I have to think that maybe the paneling in the den needs a change. Overwhelming!

  138. Christy Hillard on August 14, 2014 at 9:51 am

I would paint my son’s former bedroom now that’s he’s all grown up and moved out
. I even have the Sherman Williams color picked out – Waterfall!

  139. Joanna on August 14, 2014 at 9:49 am

Our whole house needs to be painted. But first, I think I would tackle my son’s room. It would look so great with a light grey. ;D

  140. Joni Benson on August 14, 2014 at 9:43 am

    Guest bedroom…

  141. Jane Fritchley on August 14, 2014 at 9:43 am

    My kitchen cabinets!

      Great idea!!

  142. Tami Nedrebo Lebahn on August 14, 2014 at 9:42 am

We are just remodeling our basement! Perfect timing to win some paint!

  143. Taniah Evens on August 14, 2014 at 9:38 am

My master bedroom! We’ve lived in my house 11 years and I STILL can’t decide on a color palette for this room! It’s covered with paint selections I have considered for years…a streak of grey here, a patch of blue over the head board, even a stripe of tangerine! I WILL make up my mind and finish this project…someday. : )

  144. Stephanie Whitaker Lee on August 14, 2014 at 9:37 am

My first project would be painting our living room! Right now it is wood panels from the 70’s, but I would like to paint it a lighter color!

  145. Ashleigh Jarrett on August 14, 2014 at 9:36 am

I would paint our Kitchen . . . We recently bought a small 1947 Bungalow and the kitchen needs some new paint.

  146. Jennifer on August 14, 2014 at 9:25 am

I’d finally finish painting all the main living areas of our house. Finally! There’s the family room, the entry, the piano area…

  147. Jennifer on August 14, 2014 at 9:14 am

We need to paint our family room that has 16ft ceilings and is 16×20. We will need a lot of paint, plus I want my husband to install a waffle ceiling in this room that would also need to be painted.

  148. Melissa b on August 14, 2014 at 9:08 am

My son’s bedroom. He wants a cave and forest. 🙂 I’m sure I’ll need a lot of paint for that theme.

  149. Yvette Escobar on August 14, 2014 at 9:03 am

I would redo my tween daughters room

  150. Kim Coyle Thomason on August 14, 2014 at 8:59 am

My Mom’s pink bedroom. Its time for a big girl color. 🙂

  151. Susan on August 14, 2014 at 8:59 am

[email protected] – every room would get a fresh coat. Beginning with the bathros. Goodbye wallpaper!

  152. Mary South on August 14, 2014 at 8:55 am

My entry. We just moved into a house that we are redoing and already spent over $700 at Sherwin Williams. I love the paint but we need more!

  153. brianna on August 14, 2014 at 8:54 am

I would paint the exterior. It’s light pink with teal trim. It is awful.

  154. Stevie on August 14, 2014 at 8:53 am

We would use it to paint my son’s new room downstairs and then the basement floor. Thanks for the chance! Blessings.

  155. sarahk on August 14, 2014 at 8:46 am

    Kitchen cabinets!

  156. Danielle L. on August 14, 2014 at 8:30 am

It’d be a hard pick. 🙂 Our new house is entirely primer white at the moment, so it would probably just go toward making a dent in my massive to-do list!

  157. Linda Moseley on August 14, 2014 at 8:28 am

I would use the gift to paint my kitchen cabinets. It’s a project I’ve been wanting to take on for quite awhile.

  158. Kiana on August 14, 2014 at 8:28 am

    Bathroom remodel for a friend… shhhhhh it’s a surprise 🙂

  159. KimmyAnn Smith-Chambless on August 14, 2014 at 8:27 am

My bedroom, it really needs a splash of color. I have so many ideas from your site and can’t wait to do it!

  160. Chris Goldston. on August 14, 2014 at 8:25 am

I would paint the bonus room/ my office

  161. Susie on August 14, 2014 at 8:25 am

I’d paint my son’s bedroom, in the process of redecorating it in industrial theme, your timing is perfect! Thx for the chance!

  162. Benita on August 14, 2014 at 8:24 am

My kitchen needs MAJOR help. Sure would love to win this! 🙂

  163. Rachel on August 14, 2014 at 8:22 am

My next paint project will be my kitchen cabinets.

  164. Sharon Hendricks on August 14, 2014 at 8:20 am

My great room where we basically LIVE and visitors see…ugh…it is so tired looking! I would go straight to SW and have them guide me toward the perfect color, then I’d be painting those walls just before I’d get started on the board and batten I want to put up! It is way past time to do it… thanks for the chance to get started!

  165. Terri Schumacher on August 14, 2014 at 8:19 am

My daughter is expecting her first baby so I would tackle a beautiful “new baby” room. The doctor said it is a girl so I see butterflies, pink ladybugs, trees, and birds. We’ll if we get surprised by a boy we can always have blue ladybugs. Lol

  166. Tasha oliver on August 14, 2014 at 8:14 am

    My 4 year olds room.

  170. Missy Schneible on August 14, 2014 at 7:59 am

My living room, painted it way too dark and would love to brighten it up! Love the gray in Elloyt’s room pictured. What is that?

  171. Carrie on August 14, 2014 at 7:57 am

Living room. Right now its B-O-R-I-N-G!

  172. Erin Hamill Morton on August 14, 2014 at 7:43 am

My sad, sad living room walls. We made the mistake of moving in without painting first so I’ve been looking at the blatant clumps and streaks of spackle left behind by the previous owners for going on three years now. So.very.embarrassing.to.admit!!!

  173. Chelsea Wolfer on August 14, 2014 at 7:43 am

I would repaint my living/dining room. It was the first room I painted and I’m not in love with the color anymore.

  174. Janet on August 14, 2014 at 7:42 am

OMG what a great giveaway! I would paint the master bedroom…it is long overdue and this would give me a jump start!

  175. Ashley Temple on August 14, 2014 at 7:40 am

Our living room & kitchen would be numero uno on the list! Brand new house equals a very long list!!

  176. Leslie Steen on August 14, 2014 at 7:38 am

The barn red exterior of my home is in need of an update! I would put the money towards it!

  177. Caroline Reid Donaldson on August 14, 2014 at 7:36 am

My husband and I just got our first house and the whole thing is currently contractor grade white paint! It needs a lot of color!

  178. Crystal @MyBlissfulSpace on August 14, 2014 at 7:36 am

I’m repainting most of my walls white and I LOVE Sherwin Williams Creamy! The kitchen and living room are first on the list!

  179. DJ on August 14, 2014 at 7:33 am

I have several pieces of furniture I need to tackle first. Then Master bedroom and bath walls and the children’s playroom

  180. Chrystal Byrd on August 14, 2014 at 7:33 am

My bedroom! The yellow was a good idea, at first, but quickly got old!

  181. cheryl a on August 14, 2014 at 7:29 am

dining room, hall, foyer, family room and guest bath! so in need of paint, same colors for many, many years..

  182. Melanie Gonzales-Robison on August 14, 2014 at 7:24 am

I would finish my entry way. I made a faux board and batten, painted the wall above a beautiful Watery by Sherwin Williams, but painted the board and batten a white using another brand I already had. The white looks terrible. It is clear that Sherwin Williams is a top quality paint.

  183. Laura Pearce on August 14, 2014 at 7:22 am

My bathroom! It’s is all 1 horrible flat green color. I hate it and it depresses me every time I go in there. It never feels clean even when it’s spotless :(.

  184. Barbara Bradford on August 14, 2014 at 7:15 am

I want to add color to an otherwise beige/taupe home. We put it all to neutrals and now I decided I need color in my life.. Your generous giveaway from Sherman Williams is awesome. Thank you…

  185. Teresa Garcia Hamman on August 14, 2014 at 7:11 am

Our kitchen needs a refreshing coat. It is red & needs to be lightened considerably.

  186. Candy on August 14, 2014 at 7:05 am

Bathroom!! Just moved in and the bathroom is Lavender with seashell border…Yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  187. Laurie on August 14, 2014 at 7:03 am

My girls want to each update their bedrooms!

  188. NewFarm on August 14, 2014 at 7:03 am

The kitchen! We have dark brown cabinets in great shape…except they’re so dark, we keep flashlights in the drawers to be able to pull the right pan out. We want to paint them, inside and out! The kitchen walls, too, and also the yellowed sheet vinyl floor.

  189. theolasvegas . on August 14, 2014 at 7:02 am

My husband and I just bought an old house and it’s in dire need of new paint in almost every room so this would be a fabulous contest to win! 🙂 i also have an old hutch that is in need of some new paint love 🙂

  190. Carrie Henry on August 14, 2014 at 7:00 am

I would do my dining room first. Because the “90’s” called and they want it back. Then I would be inspired to go for my bedroom and bathroom.

  191. Janice Pearson on August 14, 2014 at 6:58 am

I would paint my hallway & bathroom. So tired of the colors!

  192. Angie on August 14, 2014 at 6:54 am

Our house is neutral throughout (two paint colors for the whole house). I would like to paint each room a different color and freshen up the look of each room.

  193. Creya on August 14, 2014 at 6:48 am

I would repaint the interior of my new house. The previous owner painted everything a yellowed buttermilk. Even the moulding!

  194. Jill Prince on August 14, 2014 at 6:44 am

I would love to paint my kitchen cabinets.

  195. Bridget on August 14, 2014 at 6:43 am

I will be putting my house on the market soon and with 2 kids lets just say it needs some sprucing up. The house that we are building will only have 2 colors throughout so need I say more!

  196. Linda Caulkins Stegall on August 14, 2014 at 6:39 am

My first grandchild’s room when its parents find their house!

  197. AutumnOstlund on August 14, 2014 at 6:39 am

My dark and dungeon-like basement. It needs a light and airy update!

  198. Nichole H. on August 14, 2014 at 6:37 am

Remodeling a house we purchased so the whole thing! It was built in early eighties and can’t wait to paint the fireplaces!!

  199. heidi on August 14, 2014 at 6:37 am

just painted our new house all in sherwin-williams paint! love it 🙂 wanting to paint our doors black next!!

  200. Sarah K on August 14, 2014 at 6:35 am

I would repaint my living room. It is a beige color that looks like flesh. Yuck!

  201. Claudia on August 14, 2014 at 6:32 am

In one of our bathrooms the ceiling caved in after the roof leaked. Yep a horrible mess! I have been waiting for help and getting supplies ready. It’s been a bit since this happened…*hangs head in shame*

  202. Jen P on August 14, 2014 at 6:31 am

Our Kitchen and dining room! They’re a dull brown that needs a face lift!

  203. Angelique Scott on August 14, 2014 at 6:27 am

Most of the downstairs and the master bedroom need painted so this would be an awesome treat!

  204. Lorie on August 14, 2014 at 6:26 am

A new/old home for my Mom. She is selling her home place to move closer to my home, which is a 2 hour commute. What a sacrifice, to sell the home that you grew up in and returned to when your parents pass away, only to turn around and sell it all. Her health isn’t good and she wants to be closer to my family. My Mom is so generous and loving, it’s the least that I could do for her.

  205. Trudi McDaniel on August 14, 2014 at 6:25 am

Boy, does this gal need paint! Two of my kids are leaving the nest by Sept (one to college and one to marriage…sniff, sniff). The remaining two are room shifting, so two bedrooms need an overhaul. After that, my living room hasn’t been painted in sixteen years and it’s driving me nuts. Absolutely nuts. You can see why a paint giveaway excites me!

  206. Amy Allison on August 14, 2014 at 6:24 am

We are building a house! So we could pick out everything perfect from the beginning!

  207. Mary Ann on August 14, 2014 at 6:22 am

Need to update the paint in my living area…includes open great room with dining area, living area, kitchen, pantry hall, back laundry entrance, stairwell to 2nd story and hall way! All the same color!

  208. Spyarchive on August 14, 2014 at 6:16 am

The bedroom! I’d definitely splurge on some paint for the ceilings as well. I’ve been shying away from white walls despite LOVING the way they look in everyone’s posts and pins. But after minor bedroom construction involving a leak and 2 large men busting through a wall to fix it, there’s no time like the present (or very near future). Thanks for this giveaway!

  209. Jerri C. TN on August 14, 2014 at 6:15 am

Time to paint the entire upstairs; bedrooms, bathrooms & game room.

  210. Blaineb on August 14, 2014 at 6:08 am

I really need to add some color to these drab white apartment walls! This would certainly be a big help!

  211. Susi Reyes on August 14, 2014 at 6:04 am

I love Sherwin Williams paints! I am starting to repaint most of the rooms in my house again, so am looking forward to picking new colors throughout. An whole new palette!

  212. [email protected] on August 14, 2014 at 6:04 am

    I’d just paint everything! Lol

  213. Khyla on August 14, 2014 at 6:01 am

We would repaint our drab dining room and living room!

  214. Alicia Martin Stokes on August 14, 2014 at 5:59 am

I would paint my dining room. But first I’d have to remove the 1980s wall paper. Yuk!

  215. Meghan Blanks Brown on August 14, 2014 at 5:58 am

We are getting ready to paint our boys rooms! This would help so much!

  216. Megan Morrell Brunson on August 14, 2014 at 5:58 am

My theater it is painted a builders stark white and it really needs to be painted a color to set the mood for the dark room.

  217. Brianna on August 14, 2014 at 5:57 am

I want to paint and distress a lot of furniture!

  218. Amy Eno on August 14, 2014 at 5:56 am

My kitchen!! It’s so out dated with color. Hope to brighten it up.

  219. Venie on August 14, 2014 at 5:50 am

My granddaughter’s bedroom. Her little sister decided to “paint” her walls with nail polish.

  220. Joseph Landrum on August 14, 2014 at 5:50 am

With $200 I could paint my whole house! (it’s very small) As boring as it sounds I would probably start with the trim. It’s in rough shape.

  221. Heather Renee Alsip on August 14, 2014 at 5:42 am

I would start with our bathroom… My military boyfriend has not had the time over the past few years to do much house work. His grandfather built the home in the 50’s and its time to update!

  222. Jennifer Rosin on August 14, 2014 at 5:37 am

I have an entire house of white walls! I would start in my daughter’s room. She has already chosen lime green 🙂 the next project would be my other daughter’s room in gray. Oh the possibilities! Thanks for the inspiration, Ladies!

  223. Lisa Taylor on August 14, 2014 at 5:32 am

Hmmm, I would start in my kitchen, then my teenagers bedroom and finish in my boys bathroom. 😉

  224. R.a. Moore on August 14, 2014 at 5:27 am

if I were to win, I most certainly would start in my living room and then work my way around the house after that. Unfortunately, it all needs to be re-done.

  225. Michelle Q on August 14, 2014 at 5:24 am

I would love to paint the whole interior of our house (minus the bedrooms and bathrooms). Right now it’s a grayish-blue, which doesn’t sound that bad, but in evening light, it tends to go a baby blue/light purple. Definitely NOT what we were going for!

  226. Ashley Wilson on August 14, 2014 at 5:21 am

My husband and I have been working for years to update our home, room by room. The only two we have left to revamp are our original bathroom and our dining room. I would love to win this so that we can finish our projects. I’m thinking steel blue for our bathroom and a light teal or blue for the dining room!

  227. Char on August 14, 2014 at 5:11 am

My dear friends mom just passed and she has her mothers desk she is keeping and she wants to revamp it. So I would take Sherman Williams amazing paint and create a homemade chalk paint and re do her moms desk for her.

  228. Megan Swenson-Mazur on August 14, 2014 at 5:04 am

My family room and kitchen cabinets! I love their proclassic paint!

  229. Brenda Hayes on August 14, 2014 at 4:45 am

I would repaint the shutters on the outside of our house. They have been painted with Sherwin-Williams, but that was sometime ago and they need to be repainted.

  230. erin Meerzaman on August 14, 2014 at 4:39 am

    My basement!!!

  231. Christine Larsen on August 14, 2014 at 4:37 am

My son’s off to college so the Georgia Bulldog red walls in his room are magically going to change to something soft and soothing. He’ll be so excited when he comes home for a visit!

  232. ColleenB. on August 14, 2014 at 4:37 am

I would like to paint our master bedroom, giving it a whole new face/wall lift. I’m getting tired of seeing all white walls.

  233. Letia Winfree Brown on August 14, 2014 at 4:18 am

The front bedroom. I love the furniture, but it’s time to lighten up all the black.

  234. Ashlee Davis on August 14, 2014 at 4:14 am

My entire house needs an update! But I would start in my son’s room; the bright orange has got to go!

  235. queenopearls . on August 14, 2014 at 3:59 am

Wow, I love the peeps at my local SW store… I’ll be painting my armoire. I’m already sanding/smoothing the rough spots. :)) It’s a hotel liquidator’s special and I like it.. now time to LOVE it!!

  236. Stacey on August 14, 2014 at 3:45 am

My first project would be our dining room set…..table, chairs, buffet and hutch. Yeah, it’s a huge job that I’ve been putting off for three years now!!

  237. cezovski on August 14, 2014 at 3:31 am

My first project would be to paint the master bathroom

  238. Susan Mowris on August 14, 2014 at 3:19 am

Kitchen cabinets are in desperate need of painting. Love SW paint – thanks so much for the opportunity!

  239. Shanna on August 14, 2014 at 1:17 am

There are so many painting projects for me to choose from. Probably the stairs. I’ve been putting it off and they are such an eyesore!

  240. Kelly on August 14, 2014 at 1:17 am

If I won, the first paint project I most certainly would tackle would be the bedroom. My boyfriend (or what I call him, my husife or my knight) and I are getting our first house soon and any help we can get to make it our home would be great!

  241. Colleen Boudreau on August 14, 2014 at 12:51 am

  248. Kelly Watts on August 13, 2014 at 10:38 pm

I’m doing a complete kitchen/living room remodel and new paint is what I’m most excited about. While in the process, my son wants us to paint his room. That’s what I would use if I won the give away. He wants lime green and purple. I’ve found so.e great ideas.

Our bedroom has an awful color which makes me go sleep in the guest room… It’s really ugly…not romantic at all…would love to get to redo the bedroom and with leftovers perhaps freshen up the family room. I have never shopped at sherwin Williams. Keeping my fingers crossed. Ps. Your photos are beautiful.

  250. Ashlee Bradshaw Barnhill on August 13, 2014 at 9:48 pm

Closing on our first house on the 29th!!!! My first paint project will probably be the laundry room 🙂 I want to do stripes!

  259. Casey H on August 13, 2014 at 9:02 pm

Our downstairs…the whole level is tan and brown. I can’t handle it much longer.

  260. Jamie Collins on August 13, 2014 at 9:00 pm

My daughter’s bedroom. It’s getting ready to have a little makeover. And a two tone stripe paint job is a part of it.

  261. Anjie B. on August 13, 2014 at 8:46 pm

I have no clue! We want to move, so maybe if I win, I could save the $$ until we get a new place and use it towards paint to make it our home.

  262. Tiffany C on August 13, 2014 at 8:46 pm

Our guest room, I’d love to convert it to a cheery pink and green room for both my dds but sadly it needs a fresh coat of paint! Also our bathroom that’s one area we didn’t repaint and it’s a blah yellow, would love to change it to a serene blue.

  263. Kelly Hiebert on August 13, 2014 at 8:43 pm

Oh my our new river house it’s stick in the 80’s and dark wood paneling everywhere! I’m literally dying to paint it all!

Our bathrooms have some major color problems!

  275. krys on August 13, 2014 at 8:00 pm

The playroom! It is a red color that was really runny and it has drip lines from when it was painted last. It really needs tackled, but since its red, it is very daunting to me!

  276. Nicole Sharpe on August 13, 2014 at 7:56 pm

My son has helped me build an outdoor activity, so we can enjoy the beautiful weather, so we would use the paint to decorate that. Also he wants to redo his bedroom bc he is getting way too big for his room now.

  285. Bobi Jo Jones on August 13, 2014 at 7:13 pm

I want to redo my living room color. Have had the same color for over 6 years and am ready for change. I also have some old furniture in the garage begging for some attention so they can be moved back into the house.

  293. Melanie Hoehn on August 13, 2014 at 6:46 pm

I would tackle my living room/dining room/ hallway. They are all connected and have been the same color for 5 years. I have been scraping our ceilings to have them done with a smooth finish and I’m getting new furniture so paint definitely needs to be updated.

  300. mamagonza3 on August 13, 2014 at 6:16 pm

  305. Rana on August 13, 2014 at 5:40 pm

I would paint our whole main floor. It’s a light yellow color that I picked but I didn’t test it out first. It came out darker than I thought it would. We hired someone to paint it with is why we didn’t paint it again.

  306. Chelsea on August 13, 2014 at 5:31 pm

Our girls bathroom. It so needs a makeover!!

  347. Patty Brenner on August 13, 2014 at 3:23 pm

SW is my favorite paint (Dover White and Creamy are lovely ‘whites’), and there’s a store right across the street from my office! They always treat me so nicely, even though I just buy a few gallons at a time – not the dozens or hundreds of gallons I see the pros in there buying 🙂 My bedroom/bathroom is next to be painted – followed by my living room. That’s all that’s left of my downstairs, woo hoo!

  348. Rebekah Hancock on August 13, 2014 at 3:23 pm

Finish my office redo! I just gave birth to my second child on June 31st and my home office redo had to take a backseat while I tended to my baby bump. My son Ashton Joseph has joined our fam and this gift card could help me finish up the project right in time to rejoin the working mom world!

  352. babyjamiee on August 13, 2014 at 3:17 pm

my living room for sure… i have a small apt, and 200$ would probably paint all of it… right now all of my rooms are white, ick!

  353. Whitney Yu on August 13, 2014 at 3:15 pm

I would paint my daughters room again. The last color she picked has grown on us like a fungus…..LOL.

I must admit that your site has been a blessing. I had been wanting to do so many wonderful things to my home, but my budget wasn’t as big as my dreams. With your site I have been able to have those fabulous things by making them myself. Our latest conquest was a farmhouse table. My husband and my daughter made it for me by using your site, it’s beautiful and HUGE (11′ x 5′). Thank you so much for what you make possible!

  354. Heidi Rees on August 13, 2014 at 3:08 pm

I want to paint my dining room table! It’s a hand-me-down from my Aunt!

  355. Meghan Stewart on August 13, 2014 at 3:06 pm

We would put it toward the interior paint of our “new to us” home we just bought. It was built in 1977 and doesn’t have any interior updates of any sort. The kids’ rooms will be first. We bit off a little more than we can chew but the end result (when we finally get to it) will be amazing because we did it ourselves. We will be doing a few of your DIYs to spruce things up in a shabby chic way. 🙂 we would be more than grateful. Thank you! 🙂

  356. Val Thom on August 13, 2014 at 3:05 pm

I would paint all the rooms in our new house. We love this paint. It’s all we ever use. The best paint!!!

  357. Gloria DelaRosa Ruiz on August 13, 2014 at 3:04 pm

The living room, where everyone congregates. Like have a large group of brother & sister in laws and they love coming over to our house most of the time because it’s so large. But I’m so embarrassed of these hideous walls!

  373. Lauren Brooke Conlin on August 13, 2014 at 2:40 pm

My project would be the master bedroom. My fiancé and I are getting married in October and we have done so much to the other parts of our home and I just want to buckle down and tackle our room before the wedding because we deserve to finally have OUR sanctioned space. 🙂 we love to entertain so we always neglect the bedroom and I feel if we actually were to paint it, it would definitely boost the decor aspect (not to mention I can’t wait to hang beautiful wedding photos everywhere in there ) haha

  374. Aimeka Brown Casteel on August 13, 2014 at 2:38 pm

My kitchen! We moved in last year and it’s just sitting there, looking all sad. Still haven’t even peeled off all the tacky border. Eek. Kind of the room of shame right now.

  375. Jessica F on August 13, 2014 at 2:37 pm

My whole apartment is this blah darker than moss green and it’s depressing! I definitely need a new paint job!

  376. Lauren D on August 13, 2014 at 2:37 pm

My hallway really needs a face lift. I would like to do a board and batten treatment. Lots of paint necessary!

  377. tan on August 13, 2014 at 2:34 pm

We just moved into a new ( to us ) house and one of the bedrooms is so bright pink it looks like the light is on when it isn’t! I would love to paint that a nice grey like you guys use on some of your walls.

  378. heather on August 13, 2014 at 2:34 pm

My whole house needs fresh coats of paint. We live in a split foyer that’s was built in the early 80’s!!!! Updates are still in progress. 😉

  379. Maggie Magdalene on August 13, 2014 at 2:26 pm

We just moved into a new (to us) house. There are a few rooms that have color in them that we are not terribly excited about. Some new paint would be great!

  380. Kate Elizabeth Shriver on August 13, 2014 at 2:26 pm

My husband and I are about to move into a new house and every room needs painted! We have a lot of painting to do on a little budget!

  381. Chanel on August 13, 2014 at 2:26 pm

    My son’s bedroom

  382. Jenn Sullivan on August 13, 2014 at 2:26 pm

Our new nursery for our first son due in December. It’s my teen daughters old room so it’s got a purple accent wall and a giant flower mural on another that matched her comforter. Definitely not the boy theme we’re going for! After that I need to tackle the stairwell!

  383. Erin on August 13, 2014 at 2:25 pm

I have a whole house to paint, but if I had to pick where to start, it would be the living room. I’m on my third paint color in as many of years, but I’m going to get it right this time!

  384. Riss 91 on August 13, 2014 at 2:24 pm

We need to paint the nursery for our first child expected this November! Also, we’re installing new baseboard molding throughout our home which will need painting!

  385. Melissa Stanley on August 13, 2014 at 2:22 pm

I’d paint my kitchen cabinets. It’s the only thing left in my house that needs refinished!

  386. Audrey Sturtz on August 13, 2014 at 2:20 pm

A set of cupboards in my garage. They are so ugly and I’d love to turn them into a fun bar area with an island theme.

  387. Tina Elliget on August 13, 2014 at 2:18 pm

I need to redo my kitchen and living room. Once those are painted I’m making a new table, coffee table, side tables, and console to go in them! Can’t wait! THANK YOU Ladies!!!!!

  388. Bethany Dexter on August 13, 2014 at 2:16 pm

I’m about to have a whole house to paint and hopefully a lot of homemade furniture from Shanty2Chic plans. Love all your work. You girls are great!

  389. Tina on August 13, 2014 at 2:15 pm

You guys have the best giveaways!

  390. Kiley Mulholland on August 13, 2014 at 2:15 pm

Our new baby room! The people must have smoked in our house before we bought it, because some of the walls are just gross. I would love to put a fresh coat of paint there before our baby girl comes! Then follow up with doing all the trim work in our house! Love that Light blue and coral design you have, beautiful!

  391. Mandy Abbott on August 13, 2014 at 2:14 pm

What wouldn’t I paint?! We are doing a (slow) remodel, and I would probably start with the kids’ bedroom.

  402. Amanda on August 13, 2014 at 2:06 pm

This room!! We had the brilliant idea to paint our sons room black, red and what you can’t see is a silver ceiling (which is some kind of auto parts paint).

  403. Kerri KC on August 13, 2014 at 2:05 pm

  408. Wendy Mullis on August 13, 2014 at 2:03 pm

I am wanting to paint my dining room table and chairs. Possible look: table top piece stain dark and legs and underneath wood accents antique or vintage white; the chairs possibly a shade of red. Super excited to start this project.

  409. Erin Martinez on August 13, 2014 at 2:02 pm

I have owned my house for nearly 8 years and still haven’t painted my master bedroom, that would be a small portion, but I also need to repaint my house trim since the builder didn’t use Sherwin- Williams.

  410. Julia Davis on August 13, 2014 at 2:02 pm

PICK ME! I love you girlies! I would paint my master bedroom, its this horrible green right now (it was like that when we bought it) and we definetley need a more calming, relaxing color. Once the room is painted, I can start building our bed from one of your plans.
Thanks ladies for even considering me! 🙂

  411. Nikki Boock on August 13, 2014 at 2:01 pm

We just moved into a “new to us” house and every room has ugly white walls! I just painted the kitchen last week with Sherwin Williams Repose Gray. Next up would be the living room, three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, office, and laundry room!

  412. Heather Care Iss on August 13, 2014 at 2:01 pm

This is so nice!! I would want to tackle my bench that was once a dresser in order for it to make the paint and furniture in our computer room. 🙂

    • Heather Care Iss on August 13, 2014 at 2:03 pm

      Match not make

  413. Amanda Burgess Seiller on August 13, 2014 at 2:01 pm

We are actually in the process of changing our office to a nursery for our baby bean coming in January. We are also putting up a wood board & battan wall that you have posted in Ryobi nation. Can’t wait to get started with the painting!

  417. Whitney on August 13, 2014 at 1:55 pm

This would be AMAZING!!! We just moved into our new home couple weeks ago! It needs some major painting & facelift but with the cost of moving theres not much left to update at the moment. If I was to win I would definitely paint my kitchen cabinets and get rid of the salmon pink kitchen walls!!

  418. Kimberly Bonham on August 13, 2014 at 1:53 pm

  420. Michele on August 13, 2014 at 1:52 pm

I’ve been wanting to paint my TV stand and matching side tables into a distressed looking turquoise blue color to give my living room that coastal look and lighten the room up. Tired of the old dark brown color!

  421. Emily on August 13, 2014 at 1:50 pm

I’d paint my upstairs bedrooms; they’ve been the same color since we moved in….seven years ago!

  422. Melinda Foster on August 13, 2014 at 1:50 pm

Turning my old office into an office for my husband. He’s not fond of the pink paint on the walls, so the entire room needs a redo!

  423. Susan on August 13, 2014 at 1:49 pm

What a great give-away! I really need to paint my living room/hallway/stairway combo!! 🙂

I would pain the kitchen which, right now, is about the ugliest shade of yellow, then onto the living room and hallway, then the master bedroom. Everything needs HELP.

  427. RJ Ormond on August 13, 2014 at 1:46 pm

My first paint project…on a list of many…would definitely be our entryway!
