Time to Complete: 12 hours

Total Cost: $200

Finishing Details:
We were in desperate need of additional storage in our master bathroom. The storage closet was a perfect solution to our problem and the plans were easy to follow.

We used hemlock wood versus the white pine in the tutorial because Home Depot didn’t have the correct sizes we needed. The stain took really nicely to the hemlock, and is a little higher quality than the pine.

We used two light coats of Varathane stain in American Walnut, and one coat of Varathane semi-gloss poly. We’ll probably go back and stain the back of the door, but for now it’s fine.

We found a door pull that matches the pulls on our bathroom cabinets perfectly, so used that instead of the one in the tutorial.

Overall, this project was fairly easy to complete. Just make sure all of your measurements and cuts are correct before you assemble!

  1. Great article! Having an efficient and organized bathroom storage solution can make a big difference in keeping your bathroom clean and clutter-free. With limited space in many bathrooms, it can be challenging to find storage solutions that work well. However, there are many creative and practical options available, such as shelving units, storage cabinets, and over-the-toilet organizers, that can help you maximize your storage space. It’s essential to assess your needs and the space available before choosing a storage solution that fits your bathroom’s style and functionality.

  2. Where did you buy the mirror, and what type was it. Something that was ready made, or did you have it cut. Thank you! Very pretty!
