Project (URL):
Time to Complete: 30 – 40 hours
Total Cost: $240
Finishing Details:
Classic farmhouse table top with breadboards combined with a more detailed base that allows for squeezing more family and friends around the table! We were going for inexpensive and somewhat distressed so we used knotty pine – stained the top with Minwax Special Walnut and finished with Minwax Satin Polyurethane. Base is stained with a dark walnut and then painted with a semi-gloss white that we then distressed for the look we wanted.
Will this get watermarks if a coaster/placemat isn’t used?
Wheres the plans for this table. Unable to find the plans for this exact table. Thanks
How were the plans modified from the original set? Are the lengthwise boards 6 ft instead of 8 ft in length? I’m curious, we have been discussing modifying a set of plans in just this same manner. Thanks!!
How long did you let the Stain sit before wiping? I absolutely LOVE the shade!
do you stain and put the finish putting the table together? we are having a hard with the finish going on smooth and drying clear..
We are in the process of making this table! We also love your chairs! Where did you buy them?
Is that price in American or Canadian
American / we are from Texas.
