Finishing Details:
Had the wood cut at Home Depot. Used firring strips as directed and also screwed the lathe strips onto the back to provide stability. Minwax Dark Walnut stain. Vinyl stencil, white acrylic craft paint, cotton fabric for rosettes. Such a fun project. Have to make another one because the bride and groom want this one for their home!
**We hung the LOVE sign at my daughter’s wedding reception for decor, but it quickly became the focal point of most people’s photos, so much so that the photographer set up a light in front of it. An impromptu “photo booth” of sorts!
