Time to Complete: 12 hours
Total Cost: $300
Finishing Details:
I modified the plan to fit the unique space we had available in our eat-in kitchen area. Its narrower and longer than the plan. As a result I added a third leg in the center of the table for extra support.
I finished with Minwax Jacobean 2750 and Minwax SemiGloss Polyurethane. I thinned the poly and put multiple coats on it to prevent streaking and sanded in between finishes to keep it even.
I purchased the pocket hole plugs from Kreg to finish the exposed holes and they fit perfectly and sanded down so they’re hardly noticable.
Thanks for making this so simple and cheap for our family. I love the finished results and the character our table adds to our kitchen!
