Hey guys!!! I spent much of last weekend prepping our back patio for summer entertaining. We love having  family and friends over, all summer, and I noticed that after two years of the hot Texas sun, my DIY Patio Table was looking kind of sad 🙁 I decided to give my outdoor table a much needed makeover and teamed up with Wayfair.com to style my patio! Check out this outdoor patio revamp.

How terrible is that? The chairs had rusted and there were a few layers of dirt, dust and pollen on the table and benches.

I thought about sanding it down and then re-staining it but I had an itch to see a grey paint on it, so I got to work!

Ryobi-Pressure-Washer

I pulled out my electric pressure washer to get the muck off of the table.

I washed my table and benches

and then tackled the chairs! You can find these chairs HERE at World Market!

Once the table and benches dried, I hit them with a few coats of outdoor paint. I used Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze and I just love this color so much!!

While the paint dried on the table and benches, I got busy on the rusty chairs. I sprayed two coats of  Rust-Oleum Metallic paint on the chairs and oh my what a difference! I used Dark Steel and you can find it HERE on Amazon.

I found this super cute rug from Wayfair, I rolled it out, added the table and chairs, topped it off with that large glass vase and called it a day 🙂  DIY-Patio-Table

I was super happy with my outdoor table area and felt it was time to add more seating to our patio!

Wayfair-Outdoor-Couch

I found this great outdoor, wicker set! The coffee table, chairs and love seat are all included in the set and they were super easy to assemble!

I love this 6 tube flower vase that I found for the coffee table.

Outdoor-Lanterns

And I love these outdoor lanterns! They are big enough to just sit on the ground next to the chairs. I put a couple of LED candles inside and it makes the perfect light at night 🙂

I also added a few outdoor throw pillows. You can find them HERE, and HERE,

My very favorite find is the outdoor garden stool that I repurposed as an end table! I love the color and the print that it brings to this space 🙂 Now, I think we are all ready for summer! If you need be I’ll be hanging out right here!

Thanks for stopping by!

I built my own using the plans at www. WoodworkPlans.info – highly recommended you check those out too. They are detailed and super easy to read and understand unlike several others I found online. The amount of plans there is mind-boggling… there’s like 16,000 plans or something like that for tons of different projects. Definitely enough to keep me busy with projects for many more years to come haha

Head on over to www. WoodworkPlans.info if you want to learn more – click the pink link above for some more plans! Best of luck on your building adventures!

  2. I am having trouble painting a table that I wanted to use outdoors (direct sun). I have sanded all the way down, painted with sherwin williams exterior paint, then put a small amount of dark stain. Used a polyurethane spray for water resistance. My problem is that the top of table keeps bubbling up from direct sunlight. Is there any suggestion to help keep the table top from bubbling?

  3. Beautiful ! And i love the color of paint on the table and benches. Way fair is one of my favorite places to shop, love their patio furniture and of course, the pool doesn’t hurt either ( :
