DIY Full Length Mirrors

The back of the mirrors uses 3/4” plywood. I used hardwood plywood because I had it already, but inexpensive plywood works perfect because you will cover it with the mirror. Cut plywood to size and add 3/4” pocket holes down all 4 sides of the plywood. Add 1.5” pocket hole screws on each end of your longer frame boards. These are 2x4 boards that I ripped down to 2.5” wide each. You can also use 2x4 without ripping, but make sure you adjust measurements. Attach the long frame boards to the plywood piece using 2” pocket hole screws and wood glue. The pocket holes on the longer boards will face the back and the plywood pocket holes can face up since you will be covering them with the mirror.
Now attach the shorter frame boards. These are also 2x4 boards ripped to 2.5”. Each end will have a 1/2” overhang. Attach them through the plywood panel first with glue and 2” pocket hole screws. Then flip the whole mirror over and attach the longer boards to the shorter boards using wood glue and 2.5” pocket hole screws.
