DIY Plank Picture Frames
Build these simple DIY Plank Picture Frames with free plans and how-to video by Shanty2Chic.
Instructions
- Start by making the cuts for the planks of the frame. These are 1x6 board and you will cut each to 16.5”. Add 3/4” pocket holes to 2 of the 3 boards. Attach the boards together using 1.25” pocket hole screws.
- Add the vertical trim next. These are 1’4” thick by 1.5” wide craft boards. Cut the ends of each board at a 45˚ angle. Attach the trim boards using wood glue and 3/4” brad or pin nails.
- Last step is adding the horizontal trim. Cut each end at a 45˚ angle. Attach these pieces the same as the others using wood glue and 3/4” nails.
