Happy Friday guys!
With Father’s Day just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to throw a little something together to give my hubby from the kids. I made this for his office and I am so pleased with how it turned out!
Of course, I also made this a free printable for you guys! Woohoo for free!
I actually made several to fit your Father’s Day needs! You can see them below. These are 8×10 prints. To print them you just click the one that you want which will open a new window. Then, click print from your browser bar… Easy peasy.
Here are the FREE printables below!
Now this is super simple to throw together.
You will need to adjust your board according to size. I had 5 handprints to fit in so mine may be a bit larger than you need 😉
I just used a piece of 1×12 white wood. You can get this at Lowe’s in 4ft pieces for around $5. They can cut it to the size you need for free right there! Just ask one of the guys to help you!

I gave the whole thing 1 coat of a fav stain of mine…
Rust-Oleum Ultimate Wood Stain in Dark Walnut
After that dried I sanded the edges a bit and added the clip! These are Tim Holtz clips I found at Hobby Lobby. You can also find them on Amazon below!
I used Gorilla Super Glue Gel to attach it to the side of my board where the printable will hang!
Finally I had all my little cuties do their handprints in order of age with some cream colored acrylic paint. This was the most fun part 😉 !
That’s it! Simple but so sweet at the same time.
What do you think??
I hope you LOVE it! I would love for you to SHARE and PIN this project below!
Thanks so much guys!!

Love this for Father’s Day! Is there anyway to get the “We have a hero we call him Papa” in a mirror image? I thought it would make a cute tshirt for my dad. Love you page!!
Terrible quality photo of mine but great idea! I put this on slate we had laying around the house. I also have hanging next to it a canvas picture of my husband and our two boys. Thanks again for the awesome idea!
These printables are perfect! I love that you made so many different versions–I found the exact one we needed! Thanks so much!
can this be printed in a smaller size? like a 5×7?
Hi there, are these printables for commercial use?
Because I have seen these used on and in several shops/websites being sold, on woodblock and on glass for example ….
Can someone please clarify this for me and my friends?
Sincerely Mylena
This printable is being sold with/on several products, in several Dutch webshops! I don’t know if thats okay? Is this for commercial use or only home use?
Hi Whitney! This is so cute. I was wondering if there’s a chance you could make one that says “pop”? We would love to make this for my dad from the grankids for fathers day.
Thanks
Angela
