Hi all!  Well, the Christmas decorating may be coming to an end soon but I have still been working on decorating my tree.  My latest project is inspired by a precious silver acorn ornament that I saw in a Ballard mag several weeks ago.  Unfortuantely I cannot find it online but here’s my version!
I found these at on a Shanty Shopping Spree with Whit and thought of the Ballard beauties I had seen…
They were only $5.99 for a box of 24 at Michaels….SOLD!
Here’s what they looked like after a few coats of Rust-Oleum Heirloom White!
I pushed the ends of a srand of 1ply Jute Twine through two acorns…
and secured them with a knot.
That’s it!!!!  So easy!!!!
Hope you all enjoy this week with your families!  Merry Christmas!
Oh yah….don’t forget to get your projects ready for our upcoming Link Party and Giveaway!  We want to see ANYTHING you have made without the help of your hubby!!!!  You can grab our button to help get the word out!!!  Can’t wait to see you there!

  1. These acorn ornaments are terrific. You did a great job. I love the way you hung them two by two also, so creative and they look gorgeous hanging from the tree.
