Happy Friday morning!

I am getting geared up for Christmas, and I am here today to share a super simple tutorial on making fabric covered balls.  These all started with a big box of old ornaments I was planning on sending to Goodwill… Then I had an epiphany!

Here is how they turned out…

These take NO TIME at all to make!  If you can use a hot glue gun… You can make these 😉

Here is how I made them…

I used some cheap linen-looking utility fabric from JoAnn’s… Around $3.50 a yard with a coupon!

That’s it!  I covered all of mine while the babies were taking a nap…. Easy Peasy!

Hope you love them!  These would be so fun in any fabric to match your tree!  I want to do some more in ticking cloth… Or a plaid might be fun… Oooooh the possibilities… 😉

Super cheap, super quick, but super CHIC… Love projects like that!

I would love for you to share these and PIN them below!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and have an awesome weekend!

  1. This WILL be happening on my tree this year! Can I ask where you find the cute ornament hooks? I’ve never seen them anything but dull, boring and ugly!

  2. Very cute and easy! If you plan on adding another tree to our home this year with invincible plastic jewelry and some cute baby clothes, we will also create a beautiful craft project for children, so to fill it Need cheap but beautiful looking jewelry ideas. You read my mind on it so much, I just waited until after Thanksgiving to make them! Now, I don’t have to calculate the fabric measurements, so thanks! They are beautiful.

Use the plans at www. WoodworkPlans.info for this project like I did – highly recommended you check those out too. They are detailed and super easy to read and understand unlike several others I found online. The amount of plans there is mind-boggling… there’s like 16,000 plans or something like that for tons of different projects. Definitely enough to keep me busy with projects for many more years to come haha
