This would make my fairy/gnome house building a breeze. I wished I had this gem when I was building my log cabin house for my little Gnome Garden. When I think of cutting all those branches by hand with that tiny little saw,
and now seeing this tool, I could cry! Gotta get me one of these. Maybe Santa will surprise me?????? I can only hope!!!

  3. Second Chance Mission Inc. on August 8, 2013 at 5:52 am

I am the director of a non-profit organization that is designed to give people a second chance at life by giving natures items a second chance, by becoming home decor. We recently bought a dremel 3000 and would love to broaden the possibilities by winning this dremel saw. The items made are sold to fund the organization, so, winning this would be an answered prayer. Thanks and God Bless!

    • Deborah Seidel on September 17, 2014 at 12:40 am

That’s awesome! I also run a non profit and I create memorial pieces to be displayed at funerals and the families are able to take the pieces home as a memorial of their loved one. This is all done free of charge and in loving memory or my Mama, Mother In Law, and our baby girl who are all now angels in heaven. Thankful for like minded giving people who care so deeply for others. Hugs from Oregon 🙂

Even though I am 70 years old, I feel you are never too old to learn. I built my work bench in my storage shed and now I’m ready to build a potting bench. So any new power tools to add to the few I already have would be a big help.

I am following you on facebook. I love to DIM (do it myself) but I don’t have the right tools to do much, and I woul love to have a great tool that comes from a great company. I used to have a dremel when they first came out and fell in love with it, because it was so easy to do household things with it. I would love to have all that dremel as to offer.
    Thank you,

  174. Tami Troell on April 7, 2012 at 9:28 pm

Happy Troells to You! I LIKED this product on Facebook…that being said, I am a Texas classroom teacher who is hanging up my proverbial chalk. On June 1, I will be home for good. I can’t wait to be there for my two teenage boys as well as my husband and aging parents. I opened a little shop in downtown Goliad, Texas, about a year ago. I have depended on outside vendors for all of my products. However, recently (after my resignation on Feb. 27) I began delving into the area of DIY crafts and jewelry. I have even begun putting some of those items in my shop. Woodworking is one area that I want to focus on, and this tool would be a HUGE asset in my quest to be more self-sufficient in my store products.

  181. Becky Baird on April 7, 2012 at 7:12 pm

What projects couldn’t I do?! First I’d start out with making a head board. As Halloween comes closer I’d also have to make some new tombstones for our haunted house/yard display.

  187. Heidi on April 7, 2012 at 5:05 pm

Oh my, what wouldn’t I try out with this saw. I don’t own any power tools, my hubby owns lots, but I think that I’d have to hide this a secretly try out projects so that he wouldn’t. I think i’d try out making some picture frames with reclaimed wood.

  188. Laurie McClure on April 7, 2012 at 1:59 pm

I love your blog, so many good ideas. Hope to win this! 🙂

  189. Beth on April 7, 2012 at 1:36 pm

I’ve been torn between the Saw-Max and the Versacut. I’ll use the saw to cut plywood and mdf instead of the circular saw (which is way to heavy for me to use safely.) … I’ve got a dog leash / harness / supplies cabinet designed for our living room, just need to get the tools and wood together and make them. : )

  190. Sharon N on April 7, 2012 at 1:18 pm

  205. Julia on April 7, 2012 at 9:20 am

I am planning a kitchen memo center and a kids “art wall” complete with framing and magnetic and white board sections. This little saw sure would give me the flexibility to put things together “on site” without having to pull out the big saw every time. I also have some masonry work that needs repair and an address sign to create (still looking for inspiration on that one). So many projects, so little time – but one little super-saw (or Saw Max!) sure would help!

It’s tough to say how I’d use this – I have so many ideas. Like many of your readers and yourself, I restore/tinker with everything I can get my hands on. I think the first thing I’d try is to cut a channel down the centre of a dining table, insert a planter overflowing with rosemary, thyme, basil and oregano. What do you think?

  295. Melissa on April 6, 2012 at 4:08 pm

I have an old rectangle kitchen table that is stainless steel and wood. I am going to re-purpose this table and make a game room table for the basement by cutting down the legs of the table and building a base that will store store the numerous board games that we have acquired over the years. I am going to build the storage for the table to about knee height and then I am gong to make small picnic style benches for the two longer sides and poufs for the ends. I am so excited! I figure that this could also double as an art and craft table for the kids.

I could use this little beast 100x over. For starters we just moved into a new place and I’ve been told its time to get a baby room ready, cutting outlet openings, trimming the baseboards and build as much of the baby necessities as I can find time for. Next project, I should probably re-do our banister so it meets safety code for children. 1) Finish trimming and flooring the downstairs bathroom 2) get a front porch added on 3) Trim & install a front door 4) Install new windows 5) build some garden boxes for the wife…I can guarantee i’ll find more uses for the Saw-Max once I get going, their blade sales will go through the roof and I’ll post pictures. And I’m now following Dremel on facebook 🙂

I found your fabulous blog by researching how to build a firetruck bed for my son. We are having to move from our home of 17 yrs. unfortunately and he is afraid of moving somewhere new and different. So because of his love for Firetruck’s & our Heros the Firemen & Women I promised him he could have a firetruck bed, if he would help mommy & daddy by trying to be big and brave like our firefighters and give our new home a chance. So I will use this Dremmel tool to build my little boys dreams and the firetruck bed for his new room as promised and hopefully to help us as a family make this move as easy and fun as possible by getting all involved in building his new bed. I love that the lights actually work and the bucket does move up & down! This is going to be the best thing that could happen for our family. To take something that both kids are looking at like a negative and turning it into a positive! Thanks for this fabulous giveaway, best of luck to everyone 🙂

My friend and I teach easy and affordable craft classes for 100+ (mainly) ladies a month. Teaching them how to do things they didn’t think they were capable of, using mostly everyday items and opening their worlds to new items (like a jig saw!). I currently have to borrow my dad’s tools to cut these 100+ pieces of door hanger size wood designs each month. It would be SO nice to start building inventory of my own tools. Please let me win!

We have two homes, our latest house needs some renovations made and that is what I have been working on. The bathroom needs completely gutted, walls ripped out, pretty much starting from a blank canvas, and aside from major plumbing that needs done, I will be tackling this project on my own to further challenge me. The kitchen also needs a facelift, which as you guessed it is a project I am wanting to take on. Now our new home doesn’t need any renovations, however I have challenged myself to build just about all the furniture for it. from my kiddos bedroom sets to the patio furniture. While I have an impressive tool collection and a number of different saws, the Dremel would be very useful for when my hubby and I begin working on extending our garage by doubling it’s size as well as adding a second level to it, in addition to me customizing and building me DREAM work shed. If I had the dremel it would without a doubt get one heck of workout and most certainly would get to be used to its fullest potential, plus hubby is already jealous of my tool arsenal and adding the Dremel to it would make him drool even more! lol

thanks Shanty Sisters for offering this giveaway, will anxiously be awaiting the results!

I have been eyeballing this little jewel in the store since Christmas, but there is never enough money at the end of the month. My husband and I just finished building a mansion size chicken coup, that would have been super sweet to have one of these. There is always something around our little homestead that needs fixing, a board replaced in a stall, a fence broke etc, this would come in super handy. And I could use it on all the little craft building I do too!!!

Followed and pinned. Living in a van through grad school lends itself to lots of uses with dremel and less borrowing others’ tools! i’ve built a countertop, installed a sink and a bed, but with dremel I could really expand my creativity!

  893. Bracha Pickering on April 5, 2012 at 6:35 pm

Projects I’d use it for? Probably many things that right now require multiple tools, but what really pops to the front are canvas stretcher frames; could the Saw-max simplify things? You bet!
