Oh hey!  I’m so excited with the way my next project turned out.  It makes a great wedding or anniversary gift or even a gift just because!

My sister and brother-in-law celebrated their 2 year anniversary yesterday.

This was her on her wedding day…

Happy day 🙂

 ANYHOOOOO…

My brother-in-law asked for a little help on her gift this year.  I ran across a canvas sold in an online store and decided it needed to be copied.  It only took me about an hour or so to make and I LOVE the result.  Now I need to make me one!

Here are the supplies…

I got everything at Hobby Lobby! This is rare for one of my projects 🙂

1 Canvas (I think mine was 18×28) $10 because I got it half off

Chipboard letter pack – $5

Ampersand – $1.99 (the chipboard pack has one too!)

2 Monogram letters – These are in the unfinished wood section at HobLob for $1.99 a piece

Everything I bought was half off which is why the prices were so good!

My first step was to mark my lines to keep everything straight.

Then I used my hot glue gun to attach my big letters and ampersand.

Finally, I lined up my sayings and used the hot glue gun to attach.  It doesn’t matter which color you use which means you can make LOTS of things with that great chipboard pack!

Ready for paint!

Make sure you get all the hot glue strings off before your spray paint (learned this the hard way)

I used our fav on my canvas…

I gave it two coats and let it dry! How easy is that??

Now of course I had to stage it in my house to get pics for you guys 🙂 What do you think???’

Hope you like it!

My sis does 🙂  She called me last night and told me so!  It was inexpensive and quick but looks just the opposite!  That’s my kind of shanty!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
