When I saw the triple laundry basket dresser, I loved the idea of having the laundry bin tucked away off the floor, but didn’t need 3 bins. However, I did need extra toy and clothing storage! I followed the original plans, but on the side doors, instead of adding a platform at the bottom for the laundry bin I just made the door front and hung the hinges on the sides. On the inside I added shelves and wooden sliders for the toy bins. To save on cost I used 1×2’s to frame out the doors and didn’t make “drawers”, which saved on hardware. My son loves his new dresser! Here’s to hoping it will help keep his room clean!
