Hey guys! I hope you all had a great Monday!  I managed to get a fun project done I have been promising my girls for sometime.  They memorize a Bible verse each week and I told them I would make a fun board to display in their room to help them remember the verses.  I am really pleased with the outcome and I now want one for me.
Here is how I did it…
I started by purchasing this framed art from Michael’s for $14.99.
I removed the insides of the frame and the glass.
Spray paint time!! I used a pink for this frame since it is for my girlie’s room.  This one took 2-3 coats.
Now I was ready for my next step.  This is really similar to a couple of other projects I have done.  I just used burlap to cover the cardboard art that came in the frame.  You can also use a fun fabric or wrapping paper.  I had burlap on hand and love it on lots of things:)  I replaced my glass first and then I used my Gorilla Tape to put the cardboard back in place and hold everything together.  Yes, the back looks quite shanty but nobody sees that!
And the whole backside…
I distressed my edges just a tiny bit.
I bought a dry erase marker and finished the job.
I put it up on the girls’ wall and got a few action shots.
The very best part… I have 2 very satisfied customers… in their pj’s 🙂 !
Thanks for stopping by!! Hope you guys have a great week!!
