Time to Complete: 2 days
Total Cost: $54
Finishing Details:
This tray consists of oak boards I bought from Lowe's. Minimum cutting was required since the boards were a reasonable size for a serving tray. I glued and nailed the pieces together. Then, I sanded with 120, 220, & 400 grit sand paper. I got the handles from Hobby Lobby. Finished with a dark Danish Oil.
I used a woodburner to apply the message. This serving tray was a gift for my mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary.
