BHG Guest Ready Giveaway and a Before and After!
What better way to start the week off than with an awesome giveaway and a before and after!! I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to make my bedroom “guest ready” with some great items from the Better Homes and Gardens line at Wal-Mart! I chose my master bedroom because it has been so neglected since we moved in our home. It was “that room” that I preferred not to show anyone because it just wasn’t “guest ready”. Well, I got the motivation with this great BHG challenge and I LOVE the items I found! I also chose to spruce up my master bath a bit because I am in the process of revamping it as well!
Here is the before of my master bedroom:
After I did a little BHG sprucing:
I added the two square, ruffled pillows and the two super cute drum shades and moved on to the bathroom:)
Before:
After a few BHG picks;)
The additions to the bathroom are the two iron sconces, the metal plate (2 per package) and…
these super cute candlesticks! Two rooms, guest ready for under $100!
Now here is the great part! One lucky winner will have the chance to make their home guest ready with a $100 Wal-Mart gift card from Better Homes and Gardens! To enter, just leave us a comment sharing the room in your home you would like to make guest ready and why! We will announce the winner a week from today!
Here are a few more pics of my master bedroom and bath! Good luck to all of you! Don’t forget to stop by and “like” the BHG Facebook fan page!
A huge thank you to BHG for helping me to make my master bedroom and bath guest ready! Now it’s your turn;)
Good luck!
~Ashley
I feel like nowhere in my house is guest ready! Would LOVE to win!
I have redone almost every room in our house except our bedroom. I would love to redo it to make it cozy for my husband and me.
I feel like it tKes so mich time, effort and money just to decorate all of the other rooms in the house that the master bedroom grts neglected. I would love to add some comfort to that room!!!
Thanks for the giveaway! I’d love to redo our living room and “den”!
My bedroom really needs an update, desperately! They have such a large collection at wonderful prices. It is exciting!!
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to use the BHG gift card to spruce up our much neglected guest room!
I would LOVE to win the gift card. The main bathroom in our house that we are renting is in DESPERATE need of some help, but we have just simply run out of money!
I love your transformations. Amazing what some paint and fabrics will do to a bedroom. I LOVE the wall sconces you have on the bathroom wall. The way you placed it makes your bathroom look bigger, and they are super cute. And I drool over your candles. I keep saying that someday I will get some! Someday!
Definitely the bathroom. It’s looking pretty raggedy!
Would LOVE to re-do my master bedroom. I have concentrated on getting the rest of the house done and as always parents always come last lol. We are hosting our big family Christmas dinner and would love to have that area of the house looking as nice as the others! 🙂
My living room is in desperate need of an update – I cringe every time I walk in there!
susitravl(at)gmail(dot)com
my bedroom for sure since its my little sanctuary …..
I’d love to re-do my office, which also serves as a guest room. It needs some serious help!
Hi! I would like to make our bonus room more guest ready – we have a pull out couch in there but no bedding, side table or place for them to put their belongs!
Love the transformation! Beautiful room! Thank you so much for the awesome giveaway!
The room I would definitely redo would be the master bedroom. My husband is a Marine, and since we moved to a new duty station almost a year ago, he’s not been home enough to help decide on what to do for that room. The rest of the house is perfect, it is just our bedroom that lacks the decor. I’ve been tempted to just do whatever I want to it, but I want him to love it just as much as I do!
I’d like to revamp my kids’ room which doubles as our guest room!
My bedroom could use a little TLC.
We have just relocated to Columbia, TN from Georgia and I am having to completely rethink my “style” for this home that begs for a modern country chic feel. All of my husbands relatives are coming in mid December for a family Christmas. I painted the wood paneling in the geust room white but other than that this room is in DESPERATE need of help before the masses converge on my home!! Would REALLY love to win this makeover!! Love the post and all of your great ideas that inspire the rest of us!!
My guest bedroom is a mish mash of mostly leftover things. It definitely needs sprucing up. Thanks for the giveaway.
I would love to win the BHG prize as I would improve our master bedroom. It would be so fun! Your additions to your rooms looked great! Thanks, [email protected]
I would love to redo my guestroom that my younger sister uses. She has breast cancer and travels to my home to stay while she is receiving chemo treatments in Dallas. The room right now has a bed from my in-laws and a quilt from our mom. The walls are painted an awful peachy color. She needs/deserves a room that is relaxing and peaceful.
When my daughter moved out, her room was turned into my craft room. She moved back in and my crafts migrated to the garage in storage bins. She moved back out and it was turned into a guest room. After several more revolving door incidents, the room now only has a rickety old entertainment center and a folding table. I would usethe gift card to finally reclaim my creative space.
let’s see… i too would get after my guest bedroom. it is definitely the place where all our extras go to die. i could also spruce up my master that is a work in progress. thanks BHG for the giveaway!
I would finally get to work on my daughters room (like I’ve been promising!).
Love this idea! Definitely our master bedroom! It’s been neglected ever since my grandkids lives with us and sleep in our room. 🙁 We have 2 bedrooms upstairs that need to be ready for my grandkids to have their own room. I think it’s time to get “our” room back!!! I’m hoping I win this contest!!!
I need to do my master bedroom/bath also, but I know it would probably go towards changing my little girls room. She’s not so little anymore and thinks she needs an update in her room.
Our master bedroom is the one space we have done absolutely nothing with – would love to give it some new life!
I’d redo the living room. So outdated! Thanks for the giveaway!
Um …. does “every room in my house” count?
I love your new accessories! Super cute! I would LOVE to five my master bedroom a little extra loving!
Great giveaway! Thanks!
How about…my guest room? 🙂 It’s really a toss-up between the master bedroom and the guest room/nursery, but guests are going to see the guest room more than the master. And the bed has one pillow, nothing on the walls, an exposed mattress frame, no color…
Thanks for the giveaway, and I have to add that I LOVE the monogram above your bed! Haven’t seen one like it before, and it is really just lovely.
I would love to redo my bedroom. Love the rooms redo you did.
Why is it the master bedroom is the last one to receive the re-model/ updates. The kids all have comfy cute rooms, why not me?
I would love to spruce up my master bedroom. It could really use it.
I would love to be able to do my oldest daughters room over. She is away at college and her room could use an update.
I would make over my living room and bedrooms. We have lived in 312 squ feet for a few months and gotten rid of so much before we moved. We are finally going to be getting a bigger place and I’ll have 1200 squ feet to decorate… I’ll need all the help I can get!
I would like to make our main bathroom ” guest ready”. We are in the middle of a complete gut reno on our bathroom and I would love to get accessories to dress it up when its finished. Our house is almost 90 years old so there is so master bathroom. So this is the bathroom for us and guests (besides our half bath). It would be so nice to decorate it when its finished. We are going with a classic farmhouse look with beadboard and bronze finishes. Great giveaway!
I would love to spruce up our loft and upstairs bathroom…they are the two areas our guests use the most when we have people come to visit! Thanks for the chance to win!
Of all the rooms in our house, our master bedroom seems to always get neglected. I would love to make that room peaceful, romantic and relaxing – a space just for my husband and me so we can retreat from the demands of daily life. It seems with kids they usually take priority, but this time I want us to be the proirity!
I would love to makeover my master bedroom. It is the one room that has never been decorated since my husband and I have been married, which is 17 years.
I would love to update my master and guest bedrooms, they so need it.
I liked BHG on FB.
I would love to put some update in the master and the guest bedrooms.
My master bedroom!!! My master bedroom has been a project of mine for years it seems! I finally updated it a little (1980’s decor) but I definately need a BOOST so I am not super embarrassed for guests to stay there.
I would love to give this to my friend who just bought a house and needs to make her loft area guest ready!
Guest room– definitely!
The room that I would like to update and make guest ready is my guest room. It is a large room with skylights and so much potential! I would love to repaint it, hand new drapes and make it cozy and inviting!
Master bedroom, hands down! It’s totally neglected.
Your bedroom and bath look great! I am a HUGE fan of BHG at Wal-Mart! Just LOVE their stuff! The scent blocks they have now I ADORE!!! Smells SO good! My master bath is in dire need of a makeover…it is the one room in my house that has just never gotten “done”…..it is so sad 🙁
Lou Cinda
I just recently redid my master bedroom, but the master bath needs my attention now. Winning would give it new paint, towels and all the fun accessories that turn a bathroom into the virtual escape to the spa. One has to dream!
I’d LOVE the gift card to revamp my master bathroom and guest bedroom. We have a houseful of guests coming for Thanksgiving this year (our first Turkey day to have guests with us) and the gift card would definitely get some great mileage. The gift card would me some retail therapy for my much needed rooms and a a breath of fresh air for the craziness going on in my life right now. 🙂
Would love to get my guest bathroom guest ready! Thanks for the giveaway!
Just like you, my master bath and master bedroom are not guest ready! Thanks for a great giveaway!
I would like to update my living room and my Master bedroom could use a little help!
I have a guest room that needs some TLC. I have ignored it so far in my decorating efforts.
My master bedroom also needs a facelift. It seems to be the most neglected room in my house. Perhaps that’s because it’s the place I “hide” a lot of my projects, or I should say future projects. My daughter read that my stacks mean I’m an over-achiever…..all those things I’m “going to get to,” …but I’m afraid it means I need more than 24 hours in a day! Some good, cute storage solutions would be great!
I would totally do my master bedroom. It’s always the room that gets done last!
Oh, my bedroom badly needs a makeover!
Oooo, fun! What a great spruce up. I love the BHG line at Walmart. If I win I will probably spruce up my guest bedroom and bath. I’m working on both right now and just have a few finishing touches remaining – namely window treatments. Thanks for a great giveaway!
I love those pillows! I would love to work on my little girl’s room, it is in need of some love right now. When my son was born we moved her into the other room and sill haven’t even painted the walls, it’s still the tan we painted the entire house. Right now her new bed is being powder coated and I hope to get the rest of the room done before we have family over for Christmas.
My living room could use some sprucing up. It has the basics but need finishing touches and BHG items would be perfect. Thanks for sharing such a generous giveaway!
I would LOVE to spruce up our guest bedroom. I love the comforter but it needs a new bedskirt, decorative pillows, and throw. Right now it’s a little too matchy for me! Thanks for the great giveaway.
I need this so badly! We don’t even have a bed frame, our bed is on the floor!
We really need to make a guest space soon since we are hoping to have a little one in our home in the next year or two. The grandparents NEED a place to stay! 🙂
Guest bathroom!
Love what you did!! Our bathroom is literally down to the studs right now and I cannot wait to get it back together and add some fun new decorations to it!!
Love your cool new additions! My guest room is tired and dated…no one wants to stay in there! I would love the opportunity to spruce it up a bit. Thanks for having the giveaway!
Your room looks very nice! I’ve been noticing all these BHG products at Walmart lately and they’re really nice. I dont have a guest room but my sons bedroom (which serves as a guest room when we have company) could definitely use some help. Thanks for the chance to win.
What a difference, and at such a great price! We just moved into a new place, a rental after many years of owning & I would LOVE to spruce up my room!
My master bedroom needs some sprucing up as well. Love the BHG goods at Wal-Mart 🙂
Everything came out so great!! I especially love your newly painted bed!! I desperately need a re-do of my master bedroom too! I don’t even have a bedding set!!!
My bedroom because even though we have been here for two years I still haven’t personalized for me it’s just a room i sleep in
tbarrettno1 at gmail dot com
Wow, great makeover to make your spaces “guest ready”! Although they looked pretty good to me in the before pics too! Hmmmm which room to pick for my guest ready makeover with that Walmart gift card! How exciting!!! My house burned down 6 years ago and even though we rebuilt — things aren’t just pefect yet….are they ever? Think I would pick my guest bathroom which is large and just needs some extra punches to make it spiffy…..since the fire and rebuilt, most of my home was furnished with yard sale finds and trash picking finds…..which all are so neat because they were so loved before their demise…..but boy would it be fun to actually get to shop too! Thanks for your generosity and Walmart’s generosity! Jean from South Jersey
We have a extra bedroom that is full of junk right now… My husband and I have been talking about cleaning it up and making a guest room out of it. This would be the perfect time to start that project!!!
I would like to “guest ready” my living room. Needs some pop of color and a few accessories to make it feel cozy to sit down with a friend and chat w/a cup of coffee.
I could definitely use this! My guest room is in such dissaray and it needs to be finished for all the guests I will be having during the holidays! What a great giveaway!
We are expecting guests for Thanksgiving so I would love to spruce up the guest room before then 🙂
I would work on my living room. It could use some fun new accessories.
What a great transformation. I would love to also makeover my bedroom!!
Sadly, it is our living room that needs some work. It is a huge room with vaulted ceilings, and it doesn’t have much in the way of decoration in it. We recently bought new furniture, so that is giving me the itch to try and spruce up the rest of the room.
Our master bedroom could use an update. Somehow this is always the last room to get my attention. Your room looks so fresh…love the new lamps.
WOW! What a beautiful bedroom like you I just move into a new home and yet the master bedroom is one that I wish nobody goes in there. Thank s for all this great tips specially for items I can find at the local wal-mart. Thank you!
My Living Room also needs some sprucing up. Brown leather furniture kinda overwelms it and my lamps are still brass ones.
My living room needs an update and it is also the room where our family spends the most time so I would like to make it extra special.
my guestroom looks horrid … it need a makeover … thanks for the opportunity to help this room fulfill the measure of its creation …. darlene
To get our home guest ready, I’d like to have Better Homes and Gardens Ashwood Road Chest for the bedroom.
L-O-V-E the bedroom furniture color. Much better, great job! I would love to re-vamp the “spare” bedroom, that I guess my youngest son will never move back home to 🙁 He has been moved out for a couple of years now, but I have been unemployed for 3 years now & just haven’t had the extra funds to spruce it up (I have actually kept it pretty much the same with the exception of a good cleaning). So the door stays closed. I painted the walls but that’s about it. Thanks & love this blog. Carol [email protected]
I am amazed with the transformation to the bed. It’s beautiful. I would never have thought it would turn into something that looks like it came out of a PB catalog! Good job!
Love the simple way you spruced up your rooms. My family room is in desperate need of a makeover!
I choose my main bathroom. It has been under a remodel for over a year. I’m ready to finish the walls and start decorating.
I would love to re do my bedroom! Thanks!
nelly dot barney at yahoo dot com
My bedroom, it needs TLC soooo bad.
Oh, I would love to spend some money on my master bedroom. It could use an update! Thanks for sharing!
Amy [email protected]
I would definitely use it to make my master bedroom guest ready!! It’s a wreck and always the most neglected room of the house!
it would definitely be one of my guest rooms. it’s still painted the most awful shade of purple from when we bought our house (4 years ago!) i have so many plans for that room!
My front room is currently bare…I would love to spruce it up with some BHG pretties!
I’m currently working on updating my son’s room (which is also our guest room.) I’d love to win!
We are expecting our first baby in November. I’d love to nest, nest, nest with that GC! It’ be nice to spruce up our guest room for g’ma &g’pa and maybe pamper the hubs with some new things for our bedroom too.
I’m constantly changing things around the rooms in my house that it’s hard to decide, but I think I would like to redo my living room
Totally my master bedroom! We had it painted this summer and got a new bed and that is where we stopped. We have mismatched curtains hung up just so the neighbors wont see us “neeked”! What a mess! Come on BHG, come see me!!
Sheesh…what room in my house IS guest ready!?!?! 🙂 By far the worst is my master bedroom though….that room is TOTALLY neglected.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I would like to make the playroom guest ready now that my son is grown.
I’d LOVE to use this money for my living room!!!
Definitely my master bedroom – it needs a redo – its been 10 years and it is crying for help.
I would spruce up our living room and downstairs bath. It’s a slow work-in-progress!
Great giveaway. BHG really does have some great items. Would love to freshen up some rooms!
Oooh what a nice opportunity! I would use it to help get our guest room ship shape for my husband’s parents that are flying in in a week and a half. We closed on the house TODAY so we’re crunched for time!
I think I would pick our master bedroom, too. It needs some help.
I would love to re-do our home office/computer room. Thanks!
Guest room for sure. We just sold our home and relocated so we left some of our belongings with the sale of our home–and now we get to have fun with starting over…..
I love the BHG line and am so happy that Wal-Mart makes it affordable to get that “magazine look” for us budget conscience folk. I would most definitely make over our master bedroom because it needs the most help! Thanks.
Great updates! If I won, I would definitely spend the money on our Master Bedroom as well. It is pretty sad and neglected right now.
Our guest room is just sad! We have a bed, and a TV stand in there and that’s it!
I would like to get my daughter’s room guest ready. She moved out and all that is in there is the bed. The room needs paint, bedding and accessories.
Fab! I too would like to make my master bedroom “guest ready.” It’s so neglected! LOVE your site.
Our spare bedroom in our new home is primarily a sewing room and my husband’s office. Frequently we have guests who come in from several hundred miles away to volunteer in youth robotic competitions. I would love to make the room more guest friendly.
You make everything look so cute! I would love to make over my bedroom!!
I love the pillows….so cozy 🙂 AND the letters are awesome!!
Our bedroom. It needs to be refreshed and updated.
I love what you’ve done! The BHG products are wonderful and I would love to redo my bedroom. I’ve never done anything to it as it was always the last room thought about after kids, etc. Now 26 years later, it’s way overdue. Afterall, we’ll soon be empty nesters and it would be nice to hubby and myself to have a retreat!
After five sons, it would be a nice surprise.
I don’t have an extra room as a “guest room” so I would use it for my master bedroom. I love the colors you chose, the room is great inspiration. Thanks for the chance to win!
My bedroom! I am a newlywed and would love to make our room warm, inviting, and comfortable.
I love the BHG curtains and need some for my bedroom!
I would love to fix up my master bedand bath-love the BHandG line at Walmart!!
I would use that money to get our spare bath and bedroom guest ready. W are building a new house and I am lost on what to do to those two rooms. Thank you for the great giveaway.
My Dining room for sure. It needs some serious help! I just tell everyone it is a work in progress. What can I say, I may be in denial! 🙂
Thank you so much for the giveaway. My den could use some help. It is a hodge podge right now.
I’d put a little here and a little there! Spread the BHG love!
My husband and I had our son the same a month before moving into our first home. Since then we have been so busy with the rest of the house that the guest bedroom has taken a backseat. It is in serious need of an update! I have family coming for the holidays this year and would love to fix it up. Thanks for offering a giveaway! Great idea especially right before the holidays!!
Bathrooms need a spruce up for upcoming holiday guests! Thanks for the great giveaway!
I would love to make our bedroom guest ready! We’ve moved in a year ago and it desperately needs help!
Love what you’ve done with your two rooms. They look very stylish and comfortable! In terms of where I would use the gift certificate . . . oh, where do I begin? I would use it in my guest bedroom and master bedroom, both need some desperate updating! Thanks!
Oh, wow. Both step-sons’ rooms could use some energy. Pops of color on the walls would help. They need more storage, so a couple of shelves would be great. So many ideas… Thanks for offering the giveaway.
It would be a toss up between my family room or the kitchen!
I painted my master bedroom back in May, and still haven’t finished sprucing it up. I would love to add a new mirror in my entryway as well! Thanks for the great giveaway!
I’d have to choose either my living room or my master bedroom. Both could use some major help!!
Oh, we moved into our home 2 1/2 years ago and our guest room looks exactly the same! One black futon and two black bookcases…it could use some serious LOVE!!! What a fun giveaway 🙂
My guest bedroom needs an update. It’s so bad, I’m embarrassed to have guests! It needs to be decorated on purpose, not be filled with cast-offs from the rest of the house.
Our guest bedroom has a bed and a dresser, but it’s so BORING! White walls, and nothing hung up. I would love to create a nice retreat for our guests! Thank you for the opportunity! 🙂 BHG has some beautiful products at WalMart!
I have moved all the bedrooms around since my husband moved to a nursing facility. I would makeover one of the guest rooms to be an exercise room. Think that is possible?
I think I would change up our basement bath because it gets a lot of guest use…. and its UGLY!
It’s amazing how just a few small changes/additions can brighten and transform a room! Love what you did with the BHG items 🙂 Our bedroom is in desperate need of a little love, as is our hall bath. We’d like to feel like welcome guests in our own space! Here’s hoping…
It seems like most people would like to fix up their master bedroom, including me. I guess since it’s not a public room in the house, it gets less attention than living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.
My master bedroom definitely needs some help, but so does my kitchen. Decisions, decisions. I’ll go with my master bedroom.
I would love to spruce up my bathrooms, and my sewing room
I would really like to add a few things to my living room. It’s been neglected. Love those pillows.
Love all the updates you made! I really need a Master Bedroomm update. It’s the one room in the house that I’ve done nothing with.
Complete make over. Great job. I just purchased my first home and I would love to make my bedroom “guest ready”. Great blog. Thanks!
I would like to make my son’s room guest ready. We are switching out his toddler bed for a twin bed so it needs a whole new look. Also, he will get the boot when visitors come to town so I really want it to be a welcoming room.
Yes, please!
It’s amazing how a few good pieces can transform a room! My 5 month-old baby’s room needs to double as a guest room now and could sure use a little help!
I would update my dining room to make it guest ready! One corner of it houses our “music room” (i.e., a piano, a bookshelf of music, and two guitars) but it really needs some separation from the rest of the room (the actual dining part!) using a rug or something.
Wow, what a difference. Where did you find your comforter? Everything looks so nice. I want to “freshen” my kitchen.
Our family room! It is the one room I have done nothing with, lol!!
My bathroom needs some updates. Painting your furniture white made a HUGE difference!
I’d definitely use the money to help out our poor master bath…we decided to not do much to it because we are the only ones that see it, but I think we are due for some sprucing! 😉
We just bought a house and we definitely need to get at least one of the rooms guest ready!!
My daughter’s room would be our guest room, and it needs some freshening up! She is 21 and housesits all the time, so it sits empty most of the time; just ready for company to come a’callin!
love how they turned out! i can’t belive you got so much for $100, that’s awesome.
i like them on facebook! i would buy new dishes, mine are fit for company!
What a beautiful and restful room. Your guests are very lucky. I love the pillows especially!
I would like to make my guest room guest ready. It has all the leftover decorating stuff I don’t love and the color on the wall was a $5 can of oops paint I also don’t really like. I’d love to win!
I would love to work on our Master Bed and Bath as well…. it is the last room iun the house that I want to share with people because all of our focus has gone on the rest of the house instead!
My guest bath could use some sprucing to be guest ready. It is very empty right now!
My husband is in the Air Force so we are stationed in Washington DC…….We are pretty young with a 14 month old daughter….Which i am lucky enough to be able to stay at home with ( thanks to my hubby and the Air Force). We have family coming to visit in November. I would love to be able to spruce up the guest bedroom before they get here! I love to do DIY and decorating but Im limited to my crafts with our income! This would DEF help!!! 🙂 Love the blog!!
I would also probably do my master bedroom…..it has a couple pictures on the wall….and that’s it. Although I’m also needing to turn my daughters room from baby to big girl, so I don’t know. If I win, I’ll either have to decide or split it on the two rooms:-)
I would undoubtedly choose the bedroom. We’ve been there 2 years, and not 1 thing is hanging on the walls. It needs help badly!
My bedroom needs a makeover! It’s the one room in our house that we haven’t redecorated since we moved in 3 years ago! I so enjoy reading your blog – love your great ideas!
Stephanie
My living room could use a couple of updates to be “guest ready”. Normally that’s the first room everyone tackles, but I am tackling all the rooms at the same time!
I love your master bedroom, those pillows are just lovely, and I love that you painted your furniture. Looks great and definitely “guest ready”.
Your rooms look fantastic, as always! I really need to work on my bedroom. My hubby is in the process of building us a new storage bed and I could really use some extra money to decorate!
I am stuck in the same boat you were in before you updated your bedroom and bathroom, I just moved and my bedroom is the last room to be done, it’s more like a pitstop if anything…….needing a major update!!! Thanks for the ideas, love your bed and end table painted.
I would update my living room. Your rooms look great. I love the sconces in the bathroom.
Our guest room is really pathetic, it could definitely use a spruce! I love the BHG line at Walmart, there’s always something I want to get my hands on!! 🙂
My guest bathroom needs help!! =)
I’d have to choose my kitchen. It’s definately the heart of our home, but it’s a small space. With guests coming for holidays we need some smart space saving solutions!
Our guest room definitely needs a little pick me up! Holidays are just around the corner, and we would love a pretty little space to send them!
Great giveaway thanks!! I would redo my guest bathroom. I’m almost embarassed to let people come in and use it. It is way in need of a new look….a completed look for that matter 🙂
I would like to begin my guest room. Right now it’s a catch-all room for everything else.
We just moved to TX two months ago, so there’s been a lot of DIYing going on! I would use the gift card to help transform our “study” into a nursery or bedroom.. we are hoping to start our family asap, either biologically or through adoption, which ever path God leads us down first 🙂 Great job!
How fun! With BHG products you can really make a big impact without breaking the bank!
Recently redid a boy’s bedroom from soccer theme to guest bedroom but still need quite a few things to finish it off. Fun giveaway!
I love & wish I could manage to make the rooms in my house as beautiful & cozy as you ladies do. Must be a gift that some have & some don’t. We will start painting our son’s room next week. It’s his first “big boy” bedroom. It is also the room our out-of-town guests use when they come to town. It could really use some extra touches.
After blowing out (minuscule) budget on the bare bones in our living room re-do, it would be WONDERFUL to be able to add some pretty accessories and details from BH&G!
I need to update my living room, my bedroom and my guest bedroom. I would probably do just a few things in each room, like add some new pillows or some cute new towels.
My kids’ bath could really use a spruce up. They’d be so happy with a few changes!
My bedroom is much need of some BHG TLC!! Pretty sad when you have to close your door when company comes over :(. Would love to spruce up the most neglected room of the house! Thanks! Love everything ya’ll do!!
My bedroom is in need of some sprucing up for sure, we are moving soon so I havent even purchased bedding or anything for our new BEAUTIFUL bedroom set we got months ago!
My bedroom is in need of some sprucing up for sure, we are moving soon so I havent even purchased bedding or anything for out new BEAUTIFUL brdroom set we got months ago!
Great transformation! I think I would try and make my Living Room “guest ready”. It just isn’t as inviting as I’d like it to be.
Definitely my bedroom, it’s overrun my little babies and pets! Thanks for the awesome giveaway 🙂
We are remodeling a house and I would love to do something to our guest room!!
I would spruce up my Master bedroom, its sadly neglected! Thanks for the fun giveaway!
I would LOVE to make our second bedroom Guest Ready!! Right now it’s a store-all for junk, and when guests come over we pull out an air mattress. With Tech football season, we often host friends at our house so they don’t have to get a hotel. We desperately need a re-do! 🙂
Love those wall sconces! My “extra” room could use some help. Now being used for storage.
Since I am empty nesting now, last child headed off to college, I would love to create a guest worthy room in one of my kids bedrooms!!! That would allow me to have out of town guests and entertain them in style!! BHG Style!!! What a fun giveaway and oh how inspiring is your Master Bedroom!!! Just so beautiful and soothing to look at!!! Love it! Thanks-Sandra
Definetly my master bedroom. It’s looking tired and is ready for a change!
I love it!!!! I think I would like to redo and “guest ready” My front room, which is right now a “sitting area”. I need it to become a useable area! 🙂
I would love to make our second bathroom guest ready. It just seems a little plain and could use a bit of help. Thanks for a cool giveaway. I love how the bed looks in white.
My daughter is in a military academy and isn’t home very much; I would love to surprise her the next time she comes home! Fixing her room a little would be fantastic! 🙂
Sad, but true. I would pick my living room. I am getting married in December and everything we registered for was what we needed. We really don’t need anything for the living room, but it could definately use some love. It’s full of things I’ve aquired as a single girl!
Love what you did!!! Its amazing how a few new fresh things make a room feel “show worthy” and “welcoming”!!! Thanks for sharing, and inspiring!!! I would love to make my guest room more “welcoming”. I am in the process of working on it. Has always just been the “guest room” but never the “we are so glad to have you here” room!! I want to create that from the sheets on the bed to the storage in the closets!! I want people to enjoy staying in that room. I would also love to spruce up my guest bathroom because it is right down the hall from the guest room. Its always been our “sons bathroom” that guests use, now I want it to be the “guests bathroom” first!!! Needs that “welcoming, retreat” feeling!!! Want the bedroom feeling to spill over into the bathroom!!!
P.S. How did you paint your furniture? What products/equipment did you use? Thats something I would love to be able to do but have always been unsure what to use!!! And does anyone know where to get or how to make a great tailored burlap bedskirt??? Love Ballard Designs, but hate the price!!! Want one for my guest room!!!
Thanks for all your great tips, ideas, and pictures!!! I just discovered you guys about a month ago & have been loving it!!!
My master bedroom is in definite need of sprucing up!!
I’d probably make my guest room guest ready. It is not a very inviting room yet but I am working on it (slowly). Thanks for the giveaway.
Very hard to pick which room I would use this on! I should use it on my guest room as it is in the process of being re-done! But, I’d really like to use it on my master bedroom as I haven’t done much to it since building the house 6 yrs ago! 🙂 Great giveaway!
I would love this gc!! My sister and her girls moved in with us since their house was flooded in Minot, ND. I would love to be able to decorate their bedroom so it feels more like.home!! Thanks for the chance!
EEK! I love all the new things you added! Very pretty!
I am in the process of revamping my master bedroom also, so I guess it is the room I would use the gift card on.
Love this blog by the way 🙂
Hey there,
Can you tell me where you found the “letters” above your bed? I am looking for something just like that.
Thanks,

My bedroom is so tired an dated! It needs a makeover!
