I am so over roosters. I did have them in my house once upon a time but those days are over and done. My house is now rooster free but I couldn’t pass up this rooster pitcher that I found on a Shanty Shopping Spree (yes this is a term we use often) with Whitney. I purchased it at Jo-Ann’s for $5.00 and some change. I liked the shape of the spout and the handle and I knew a little spray paint would turn this shanty pitcher chic! This lonely rooster has no idea her days are numbered…
Two coats of Krylon Ivory Satin spray paint (purchased at Wal-Mart for $2.00) and the rooster is just a memory….
Definitely an improvement but it is so boring….
A dry brush of Lamp (Ebony) Black over this cute #7 stencil I made with my Cricut might do the job…..
Cute but still missing something….
There are some people who will crying when they see that you are "over roosters." Let them cry because I definitely like the new look better. SPray paint on!!!!
Cute. What a difference!
How fun and "doable"! Love your style!
I love pitcher 7! It's mighty cute.

Looks fab! You would never know there is a country rooster hiding under there!
Visiting from Reinvented. Super cute! Any particular reason for the 7? Just wondering if it had any significance.
What a nice little transformation. Guess you didn't participate in the recent rooster party, didja? LOL
The addition of the stencil was cute, but the twine really set it over the top!

So super cute. I love the number it just made the pitcher 10 times cuter.
I am the next on the list between your 2 projects. I hope you'll come for a visit.

That turned out really cute! The trim is the perfect touch 🙂
That is so cute, what a transformation. Gotta love the spray paint.
I'm a rooster fan, but have to say this is an improvement. Great job! ~ Sarah

Fabulous! I have twine wrapped around most of my vases now and I love it. Great job.
Great way to get rid of the rooster. I just did a post last week about things in our homes that should go and roosters were on the list. They are definitely a cock-a-doodle-don't.
Lovely transformation!! I am SO with you on the rooster sentiments, can't stand the things!
I love it! I lost interest about 10 years ago in roosters and apples. I am sure I will want them again in about another 20 years!
ADORABLE!!
And.. I'm SO over roosters too! I had some in our first 2 appartments, but then about 11 years ago, I just wanted them out.of.my.sight LOL!
perfect.
Looks fabulous! I need to just spray paint something, it's a little fear of mine that I need to get over, lol!
Blessings,
Cara
