I have recently fallen in LOVE with a new spray paint from our friends over at Rust-Oleum! I stumbled upon these super cute bird (maybe it’s a dove) ornaments and knew just how to revamp them!
Aren’t those sooo cute!! You want to know what makes them even cuter?? They were in the dollar section at Michael’s! Whoop!! I loved them but knew the red was a bit off for my silver and blue tree. So… Here was my solution.
I love, love the finish that it gives. It makes your surface look almost glittered without the mess! I sprayed both side of my birdies and after a bit of drying they were ready to go. I just added a piece of twiner and hung them up. I love them!
How fun are those?? You can find them at Michael’s! I found them right by the checkout with all the $1 stuff they stock at the front… My Michael’s had LOTS. After you get your birds go get this paint. You will love it!

Just gorgeous!
I wouldn't have wasted a second look at the original ornament sold at Michael's but the idea to spray paint is just great.
I guess I will make a trip to Michael's and Lowe's tomorrow.
This will make a great addition to my this year's Christmas decoration.
thank you so much for sharing the idea.
What a cute idea. Will definitely be doing this for my tree this year!
very cute! i used that exact spray paint a number of years ago on some nasty brass lamps!
You better believe I will!
Clever & Gorgeous!!!
