Hi guys!

I am loving my latest project! I told Ana that I wanted some ottomans for in front of my coffee table.  You know my project requirements… cheap, easy, and cute!  Well… Once again she delivered!

You can build these great cubes for under $20 a piece!  The cost for wood is a whopping $5! Woohoo!! Totally my kind of project.

You can see full plans for these cubes HERE!

Here are a few pictures from my build (which by the way was done during 1 naptime!)

I used my Kreg Jig® to attach my seat slats…

I found white foam board at Hobby Lobby for $1.29 a piece.  I used 2 pieces for each cube.  I thought that was much easier than trying to mess with boxes, and it’s super easy to measure and cut.  Just use a yard stick and a craft knife.

These are the chair cushions I used from Joann’s. They were 40% off.

I hot glued it to the top of the cube and then wrapped the whole thing in this batting…

My last step was sewing the slip cover!  If you can sew a straight line, you can sew these slip covers!  I will share the how-to on that tomorrow!

Until then… Here they are all finished!

Aren’t they fun!?  I love their coral color too… Ready for Spring 😉

Make sure to visit tomorrow for instructions on the slip cover!

Below is the free printable for the cubes and you can also get the full plans HERE!!!

These are so easy and super fun to make!

Thanks so much!  Here are just a few more of my latest living room projects…

  1. What are the dimensions? I would love to make this for my living room. I have a couch with to end recliners but the middle does not recline and want to make an ottoman for this.
