Project (URL):
Time to Complete: 2 days
Total Cost: $40
Finishing Details:
The barnsiding was first pressure washed to rid of the dirt and chipped red paint. Next, the wood was measured and cut to fit a king size bed. The posts were original barn posts and the supports also came from the old barn. All wood materials were donated by a family friend. On the bottom of the posts I added decking post caps to add a finished look. Once assembled (with a nail gun), the wood was white washed and set up to dry. The white washing was a basic mixture of white paint and water applied with a sponge.
Your headboard is beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing 🙂
