Time to Complete: 2-3 days
Total Cost: $10
Finishing Details:
Total cost was around $10. I had to purchase the wood, and the hardware, but already had the paint on hand. My Finishing Details: My first step was painting the edges and other small areas with a dark brown acrylic paint. Then when that was dry, I placed a tiny bit of vaseline in the areas where the brown acrylic paint was – immediately after that, I spray painted the entire thing with Rust-oleum Painter’s Touch Spray Paint in Heirloom White. Once everything was completely dry, I sanded in the same areas where I had put the vaseline, and it peeled off just like butta! It was the perfect way to get that “chippy” look, and it turned out exactly like I wanted! Thanks for the great tutorial Shanty Sisters!
