Finishing Details:
Two coats of Minwax Dark Walnut Oil based stain, with 220 grit sanding in between coats. After final coat of stain was dry, I sanded edges with 80 grit sand paper to give a distressed look. Also sanded table top lines where 1×6 connect with 220 grit only adding a little extra pressure to distress the lines a bit. I followed that with 3 coats of Clear Satin Polyurethane, with 220 grit sanding in between coats followed with a final Sanding/Buffing with a synthetic Finishing Pad.
