Now, who doesn’t love a little garage organization??  I have been working on getting my shop revamped for the last few months.  I am slowly tackling every nook and cranny to make the most out of the space and use every inch 🙂  One of my latest projects to tackle was upgrading from the pegboard system I have been using as tool storage, to the Rubbermaid FastTrack system!  Can we talk about how much I LOVE this system??  Check out how I set it up!
This is my wall of tools that don’t get used as often… Minus the radio! Â I love how I can hang my radio and it’s perfectly in reach all the time!
And the hanging baskets are perfect for holding my bagged tools and shop towels.  I also keep my Clorox wipes in there for when I spill stain and paint… Which happens fairly often 😉
This system has been a lifesaver. Â No more stinkin’ silver pegboard hooks falling on the ground! Â Game changer. Â It was crazy easy to install too.
Everything runs on a rail system. Â Each rail is a silver metal piece that is covered by a black plastic piece that slides over it. Â The first step is attaching the silver rail to the wall. Â I found and marked the studs in my wall, and then used my impact driver to drill 2.5″ screws into the studs. Â A drill works perfectly for this part too! Â I used my level on this part as well to make sure each rail was straight.
After attaching the silver piece, you just slide on the black plastic piece right over it.
Then, each attachment just clicks onto the rail. Â SIMPLE. Â AWESOME.
And, the attachments easily slide on the rails making it super easy to customize. Â I love it. Â Check out the rest of the space!

 And remember my lumber storage rack I built?  I was using the pegboard system on the back to hold my drills and other tools I use on nearly every project.  Not anymore!
Ahhhhh it makes me so happy! Â You can find the system at lots of places like Home Depot, Target and online!

I would organize all the yard tools (shovels, rakes, you name it) that are mangled in a corner in the garage.
We could definitely put this to good use! Our garage has no organization what so ever, so we don’t do many projects since it’s such a hassle to find anything!

I was just comparing garage organization systems at Lowe’s yesterday! Great to see an actual review I can trust about one 🙂 I would use this system to set up the garage into a workspace in our first home purchase, closing next week! I am so excited to finally have my very own garage workspace to build in, and I’ve been stalking the garage and toolbox aisles of Lowe’s for months now!
Definitely need help in our garage. Sporting gear, bikes, and toys for 7 kiddos PLUS tools & supplies for my small furniture/craft business – all housed in our small single car garage. A functional organization system would be dreamy!
Our garage could totally use this! I would use it to organize all of our rakes, shovels, extenion cords, etc. We have them hanging up right now, but they are on all totally random hooks. This system would be so much more efficient, not to mention it would look a lot nicer!
I would love to use this to get the yard tool rack that’s sitting on the garage floor out of the way! We don’t have much room in our garage so having stuff sitting on the floor makes it hard to actually use our garage to park a car in when we need to, like during a hail storm!
OOOHHHHH Im so in love this organization system.. I began doing garage sales for a couple doing missionary work in Peru, and whatever earnings I make goes directly to them. I collect donations all month long and have the garage sale once a month…SSSSOOO to say my garage has slowly became very organized and kinda messy is an understatement I cant get to my tools or anything else for that matter!!! I need help to be able to make one side easy and clutter free for me to continue doing my projects…its been months!!
I would use the Rubbermaid FastTrack system to Un-Shanty my garage! I have my own modest, collection of beautiful neon green Ryobi products, courtesy of your referrals and I am quickly learning how to fill my wife’s wish lists. I would use this in my sons closet. Seems perfect for all the extra stuff like socks and toys. His closet needs a total revamp
We would get our garage all organized! For the past couple of years I have only asked for power tools for my birthday, Christmas, etc. Now that I have the power tools I need a place to put them 🙂
