Hey guys! Hope you all had a great Wednesday 🙂
I have a fun project to share today!
I started with a 1×8 board from Lowe’s that I cut to about 2′ long. I used a different paint method on this board and I love how it turned out so I am going to share it with you in my next post. So for now… Here is my board after it is painted and ready to go.
I also purchased 3 hooks and a pipe clamp from Lowe’s. You can find the pipe clamps in the plumbing section. I bought the smallest 3″ clamp and it was under $2.
My next step was attaching them to my board. I used my drill to attach my hooks first.
Then it was time to attach the clamp. After attempting to drill a hole in the darn thing for 30 minutes I decided to hammer a hole in it instead. I just put a thick nail on one of the little openings and hit it hard with a hammer. Done. I then wished I would have tried that 30 minutes ago.
I used a 3/4″ wood screw to attach it to my board.
Finally, I added to picture hangers to the back of it and hung it up. Mine is on the wall leading just into the garage. I dropped a mason jar into the ring and added a few cotton blossom twigs I found at Michael’s.
I love it. It makes me happy when I look at it. 🙂
I’m thinking these would be super cute hand towel hooks for the bathroom. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by!
I will show you my new paint method in my next post so stay tuned. It’s super easy and distresses perfectly… Whoop!

It looks so sweet with the little mason jar and flower! Thanks for all the pictures of the tutorial. Being a very visual person, I really appreciate it.
So fabulous! I’ll be sharing this in my Saturday Seven lineup tomorrow. 🙂
Cute, simple idea! I love it…very flexible idea and simple tutorial!
whoa! this is amazing! i was actually just buggin my husband to make me something like this! i saw one on etsy as an idea. This might just be easier! thanks for the tutorial!
I blogged about your super cute wall hook today-gave you full credit with a link to your site. Thought you might want to know. Thanks for the great idea!
I just wanted to let you know that I am featuring this on Sassy Sanctuary today. Love it!
Love this! So cute! Thank you for sharing!
Fantastic!! Great house warming present.
Achei a idéia genial e a aplicação dessa braçadeira para vidros conferiu requinte à peça; passou de um simples porta chaves a um romantico suporte para chaves, chapéus, guarda chuva etc… Parabéns

WOW I love this! I just tweeted, pinned it, and stumbled it! Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for stumbling Alison! We’ve had a huge response 🙂
Wow! That is a really great idea! I love it.. <3
Pretty cool. I would think a copper bracket around the jar might look a little more antique-ish but a good idea none the less.
OMG I never know you could find the ring in the plumbing section! I had no idea what those things were or how they hung from these shelves. Thank you!!
Looks great! I LOVE the paint job!!! can’t wait to see the directions on how to do it. I’ve been struggling with the distressed technique and can’t seem to get it to turn out right. Keep up the great work.
This is so cute! I haven’t seen them before. I like Emily’s idea of a toothbrush holder for the bathroom.
This is such a great idea! Would look great in the bathroom or back of a bedroom door to hang dressing gowns / bath robes on. Thanks for sharing!
i just adore this-tfs!!
I love this! My dear SIL has a vintage look in her decor and this screams to be done for her. I am shooting for a homemade Christmas this year. I will be making a couple of these. Thanks so much for sharing! I am linking to this on my blog: 4growingboys.blogspot.
So cute!! I’m crushing all over this!!
Hello cuteness!!!!
