Finishing Details:
Since the original plans did not allow for an umbrella, I had to tweak this one a bit. Note the two 2x4s across the bottom, and the alternate placement of the X braces.
It's nice and sturdy, and makes much better use of our limited space than the small round table it replaces.
That's sunlight hitting the base – not a spot where I missed applying stain!
