Hey guys! I can’t believe we are already to day 7 of our 12 Days of Christmas series! If you want to keep up with our projects, follow us on Instagram and Facebook! For day 7, I picked a super easy and inexpensive knock-off ornament. I was inspired by some super cute ornaments in a Pottery Barn magazine!
These are a great craft to do with the kiddos!!
I started with a few Chipboard pieces from Hobby Lobby. When they are on sale, the peace signs are about $.50 and the alphabet set is about $3!
I spray painted 3 coats of Rust-Oleum Gold Glitter spray paint all over the chipboard pieces.
Once they were dry, I just added twine to hang them. The piece signs are a thicker chipboard so, I just flipped them over and used my staple gun to staple a piece of twine to the back, forming a loop.
For the thin chipboard letters, I used a small screw driver to punch a hole through them. I decided not to use a hole punch because I didn’t want a large hole in the letters.
I just thread a piece of 3 ply jute through the hole and made a knot at the top!
I found these super cute ornament hangers at Hobby Lobby too! A pack was only about $2!!! I picked all of my family initials from the chipboard pack to hang!
Woohoo that was easy! I’m loving my cute little knock-offs 🙂 We always appreciate your pins and shares!
