What better way to start the week off than with an awesome giveaway and a before and after!! I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to make my bedroom “guest ready” with some great items from the Better Homes and Gardens line at Wal-Mart! I chose my master bedroom because it has been so neglected since we moved in our home. It was “that room” that I preferred not to show anyone because it just wasn’t “guest ready”. Well, I got the motivation with this great BHG challenge and I LOVE the items I found! I also chose to spruce up my master bath a bit because I am in the process of revamping it as well!

Definitely my master bedroom – it needs a redo – its been 10 years and it is crying for help.
I would spruce up our living room and downstairs bath. It’s a slow work-in-progress!

Oooh what a nice opportunity! I would use it to help get our guest room ship shape for my husband’s parents that are flying in in a week and a half. We closed on the house TODAY so we’re crunched for time!

Guest room for sure. We just sold our home and relocated so we left some of our belongings with the sale of our home–and now we get to have fun with starting over…..

Great updates! If I won, I would definitely spend the money on our Master Bedroom as well. It is pretty sad and neglected right now.
Our guest room is just sad! We have a bed, and a TV stand in there and that’s it!
I would like to get my daughter’s room guest ready. She moved out and all that is in there is the bed. The room needs paint, bedding and accessories.

Our spare bedroom in our new home is primarily a sewing room and my husband’s office. Frequently we have guests who come in from several hundred miles away to volunteer in youth robotic competitions. I would love to make the room more guest friendly.
