Let me tell you how I found Lifestyle Screens. I have 2 times during the day to get any real work done. For me, it’s nap time and after the kids go to bed. At night I would roll out into the garage and start building around 8:30, but I would be taken over by bugs by 9… Gag! So, one day I started searching for some sort of netting or product I could put up to keep the bugs out. I found a few. None of them were easy on the eyes at all, and the reviews I was reading were terrible.
Then, I came across Lifestyle Screens.
Holy wow. Too good to be true? Not at all. For me, this is one of the coolest garage products out there, and I had no idea such a thing even existed!
The Lifestyle Screens work in conjunction with your garage door. Once you have opened your garage door you can easily lower your screen door and you are ready to go. They come in different color options as well making them not only functional, but pretty too! That’s a must, right?? 😉
I feel like I have gained square footage on my home. Best investment ever. My favorite part is the retractable screen door allowing you into and out of the garage easily… LOVE.

I live in the DFW, TX area and I used Guy Myers from Cool Screens Texas! Guy and his wife Nancy are a 2 man team. They are good people who I instantly connected with. They came out and took measurements for the screen. A few weeks later he came to install.

I am curious if this has held up and you still like it.
I love that you mentioned that you can more easily go in and out of your home with your garage screen. My wife and I are considering getting a screen, but weren’t sure what would be good about it. I will be sure to tell my wife about this, so we could have that as an option.
If the screen door is down and you accidentally try to close the garage door, what happens? Does the garage door destroy the screen? Do they have a fail safe that prevents the door from closing when the screen door is down?
Sorry but 1500 dollars is not inexpensive.
Trying to find a replacement for a “regular” (heavy duty poly screen, not fiberglass…manual roll up…about $200…) garage screen that the zippers have finally worn out after 6 years. Found this screen which is very nice with center door…The quote I rec’d (8/25/2014) here in the SF Bay Area is $1495.00 installed for a 18′ x 7′ garage opening.
Hey…I would appericate if that person would say what the cost is..right!!! Just saying..

i would like to know roughly how much these cost as well – just a ballpark idea. I work in my garage all the time on projects and this would be PERFECT!
These are manufactured less than 20 miles from my house! Who knew? Now, to find an installer. I’m interested in the pricing as well.

My problem is growing the west coast from Seattle to California, Nevada to Arizona.
