DIY Lounge Chair Cushions

So, I have had a hard time finding the perfect cushions for my lounge chairs…  I was looking for the perfect color at the perfect price because I don’t want to spend a lot of money on cushions that could possibly be chewed up by our sweet 1-year-old puppy…

Meet Duke!

So, after scouring stores, both online and in person, I found these at for $24…

These cushions were the perfect green that I wanted to accent outside and they were a replaceable price;)  They are also reversible which is pretty cool!  The only complaint I have is that there is 1 tie!  Not sure what the manufacturer was thinking when they made them but they are $24.  Other than that, I was pleasantly surprised!  They are comfortable and they seem to be made very well (minus missing a few more ties;)

That’s it for now!  I still want to add the wheels and the tray (like the Pottery Barn chairs;)

LOVE these cushions but I would NOT love them after Duke got ahold of them….maybe one day;)  If you missed the tutorial on these chairs you can check it out HERE!

Thanks so much for stopping by:)  ~Ashley

Very smart and creative idea since puppies are teething around that time! Your puppy is adorable! Is he a golden retriever?

Love how they turned out! The green seems to work perfectly. Can’t wait to see if/when you add those wheels! 🙂

Beautiful, job well done! By the way, when I got a new patio set, the cushions had no ties. Very windy here in the Midwest. I bought some gros grain ribbon and sewed into place just where I needed them to tie onto the furniture. Enjoy the rest of the Summer! N

I have forwarded all of your posts on these chairs to my hubs…he doesn’t seem to motivated so I may just have to figure out how to use some of his tools 🙂 They look amazing!
