Happy Friday!!! As promised, I’m back to share how I made this super cute mirror that I have on top of my DIY Floating Ledge!
It was SOOO easy and quick! And, it only cost me about $25!
Here’s how you can make one for your home!
I started with this mirror that I found at Target for about $19! They still have them but if you can’t find one, any mirror shape will do. You may need to adjust your measurements when you make your cuts, for your pallet, though!
I love the shape of the mirror itself but thought that it would be so pretty mounted on a stained pallet! I lucked out and found the scraps I needed in my garage! I cut 3 – 1×4’s at 25.5″ and 2 – 1×6’s at 25.5″.
Don’t have a saw? This hand saw is the perfect saw to get small jobs, like this pallet, done!
I used my good ole’ friend Kreg Jig to drill pocket holes into 4 of the boards.
And, I drilled 1 1/4″ pocket hole screws in the pocket holes with my cordless drill.
Next, I gave my pallet one beautiful coat of my favorite Early American stain and let her dry for about an hour!
I decided to have the mirror hang on the pallet from the center metal piece, on the back of the mirror.
After marking where I wanted the mirror to hang, I drilled a 3/4″ screw at that spot.
That’s it! For REAL! How easy is that? You should be able to finish this at nap time;)
If you love my DIY Mirror Pallet, I would LOVE your pins! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT weekend! Whoop!!
